I know how you feel Rusty.

DS comes home today from college, with a letter about a trip of a lifetime that he's been asked to go on, apparently it's very limited - cost of trip - £950! Deposit to be paid by Monday of £250.

I feel so incredibly guilty that I simply don't have that kind of money to be able to let him go on the trip, and feel like a terrible mother.

You can get big tubs of these from ikea for about £1.99-£2.99 :D or if you are jammy like me and catch them at the right time they only cost 19p a tub :D ... I have 4 tubs here :rotfl:

Well I thought today was starting to look up ... I managed to walk to work with DD walking aswell  and we got a bus home which was great for DD as she has never been on a bus! ....

OH has just emailed me to tell me that the problem with my car is a fuel pump .... nothing too sinister ... should be fine and not too expensive to fix ..... or so I thought. Turns out that for my poxy little vauxhall astra it will cost £700 just for a new fuel pump!!!!!!!!!!! thats just the parts at a trade price  that is without any labour costs or recovery costs! :(

So knowing I only paid £2.300 for the car a couple of years ago I said to OH about us scrapping mine in using this scrappage scheme ... you can get £2000 off a new car for the scrappage scheme now and if I was to sell privately then I would probably only get £1500 for mine... he made me check the log book to find out the date ... and apparently my car is 29 days too new to be included in the scrappage scheme!!

Oh well time to start selling bits and bobs to try and find the money to get it fixed!! OH has said he wants rid of his car before it gets to 3 years old because of all of the problems so now we are back to square one!

hi all, could someone point me in the right direction for some of those magnets that you attach to post it note holders, calenders, etc? I'm sure there was a discussion on here a while ago about these but may have dreamt it!!

I've got large circles and large scallop circles and the scallop ones are bigger than the plain ones so you can either have just a frilly bit round the edge or a bigger gap - just to confuse you further there are classic scallop circles and petite ones (these have smaller scallops ifykwim)

Hi Nannyboo - you must be very close to me as I'm in North Lincs as well :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

CT, if I can help with nesties then please let me know, here to help and with Ikki too. I've got the Wizard machine and quite a few nesties and other Spellbinders but I go to Ikki's blog if i want to check up on anything. I can't rate it highly enough.

If you need to know the layers or sandwiches for your Bug either look on Ikki's or the Spellbinders site. I think they have a .pdf file you can download for keeping.

sunshine keep all your stamps! you'll miss them if you got rid of them, I love mine. What sort of stamps do you have? I love embossing with mine and have one or two particular favourites that I use a lot. The posters on here will tell you that I don't use many of the Magnolia style of stamps 'cos my colouring is carp. I love using a stamp with either a nestie or a punch for extra effect.
