skiergirl and ali i stick the fancy paper to the card then cut out the template lol.

[ali - sorry I should have said - the card template is supposed to open up and over, not side to side ie the fold is at the top of the handle not the side. I struggle to get a perfect fit of papers on shaped cards - maybe someone more experienced can advise us both ? Well done on doing your first card :T[/QUOTE]

rusty - congrats on getting your mojo back. You'll have to start making up for lost time now!

I've uploaded a new card to my blog (http://leialegweak.blogspot.com/) made using the iris-folding technique. There have been some gorgeous cards made recently - I have to make a wedding one at some point soon but don't know where to start! x

WOW what a fab card, gorgeous colours too :T
I love the one you have made for your gran too and I have become a follower of your blog. Don't know how I managed to miss it  sorry

    Afternoon ladies :)

Some beautiful cards on the blogs, and also on this thread!!

I am now mum of one ... Thomas is on his way to Hull bless him. Maddison screamed and cried most of the way home but she is now happily playing bless her!!

I am going to be cheeky ... Could a few of you give me some challenges of things to make? card wise I mean ...

    I so far have:

    MSE Stitch challenge
    CP ATC - Flowers
    CP Trifold challenge

Can anyone give me a simple sketch to follow? I am desperate to get started again but I know I will get easily disheartened if I make a mess of the first card!
Any simple things like one colours, just animals, just embossing etc etc would be fab. Pretty please ladies!

Rainmac - that one page took me two days to complete - I kept faffing about with it - I think it looks too plain now!!! I never know how you manage to get so much done - you must be super organised!

Flourgirl - such a pretty delicate challenge card! I couldn't believe how many cards I received - I am lucky to have so many lovely friends.

Kim_Possible - beautiful card - that flower looks so pretty.

Rusty - how about a sporty card????
