Yep I am home from the dentist with a week's worth of anti-biotics as it is an abscess and I am booked in for 2 weeks time to have the tooth taken out , not looking forward to it but apparently my nerve is very fragmented  and a root canal is not a good option. I'm ok with that cos I think once the tooth isn't there it can never cause any more problems and having the blooming thing out is soooo much cheaper than a root canal - £400+ pounds plus a crown on top of that  and that's an NHS dentist

Rusty, glad you saw a nice doctor, once you've had the MRI you can get some answers as to what they will/can do for you ;)

Marg, hope you have a great day with your OH x

Ouch I was wondering what they would say .... you need to check the prices as my MIL was almost lumbered with a £700 from a NHS doctor who was trying to rip her off, they eventually got in touch with NHS and they forced the dentist to do the tooth at the right price, there are now 3 price brackets I believe so just make sure you are not going to be ripped off!! ... hope you feel better! I had a root canal just agfter christmas ... was torture mentally but didn't actually hurt ...

Gemm hope the cat is better soon!

rainmac - I do feel for you..............hate anything wrong with my teeth like that and having an abcess is really painful. Been there, got the t-shirt............
Thanks for the link -thats the sort of thing but they're a bit big -I was thinking of the narrow ones really. Expect they'll crop up eventually.
Given up on notebooks -well today anyway........lol Found some lovely grey velour material yesterday I forgot I had. Be ideal for a boys notebook so think I'll try that next.

Rusty - fingers and everything else crossed for you. My leg's a lot better now but it all comes from my back......I just have to rest and hope it goes away. Sometimes it does but I think I told you, I go to an aromatherapy massage lady in town and that works when all else fails. Pain killers the GP gives me knock me out !
Best of luck -I'm sure they'll get it sorted
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

npsmama - I have a big shot and I love it. I use cuttlebug folders in it too and I'm about to get some nesties to use aswell so it's very versatille! The dies can get expensive but you can use other brands too!

rainmac - I hope it gets better soon. I had a nightmare abcess once and never want to go through that pain again!

Marg - hope you had a lovely day with OH

Gemm - hope the cat is better soon

For anyone thinking of doing a cross stitch card for the challenge, this link was posted on the Thrifty Gifty christmas thread, but there are lots of patterns for other occasions too

    Hi all,
Just found your lovely thread. I've been a crafter for a while now. Cards mainly but find it hard time wise to actually sit down and craft. Hopefully following this thread will get me more motivated. Looking forward to your posts and following your blogs.
    Thanks for great thread

Phew.. I'm shattered, Willow decided to come yesterday and stay overnight, grandad bought her a new bike for a suprise only today he has been really busy so it was up to me to take her for a bike ride:eek: She was going to stay again tonight but remembered she had promised her friend Scarlet a girlie night in with a DVD:rotfl:Talk about 6 going on 16

Rainmac hope your feeling better, ouch that sounds really painful. I could have kept you company on here this morning, the blinking car alarm went off 3 times at 3.30am the car was in the garage locked up and there was no one around  by the time I had been out of bed three times I was wide awake then it was daylight by the time I finally dropped off again:eek:

Rusty It sounds like thing are moving on the medical front and at last you know you are going to get something done about your back, and it will all be worth it in the end.

Managed a bit of crafting yesterday morning and made an ATC for the CP swap and stitched a panel for Gemms challenge just need to make that into a card. Printer has run out of ink so waiting for that to come in the post, hopefully tomorrow, cos I bought the Pink Petticoat leopard papers and want to print some out and can't:mad:

Right off for a look at the blogs, there is some fab stuff on there:T and it seems ages since I made any comments, SORRY....will try better

Evening all. I am completely shattered! DS goes to Hull on the train tomorrow evening with my Aunt, ready for his trip to my dads out in Bulgaria ... almost 2 weeks  then he comes home on the fri and dissapears to his dads on the sat for the last week of the holidays! This is going to be a killer for DD she will really miss him.

I just wanted to come on and thank Choccy for the lovely images she sent me, and guess what ... in the envelope I found my MOJO, it was split in 2 ... one half came with the images, and the other half came in a bag off ebay with some card stock!! how cool ... I thought it was dead but I managed to glue it back together and I now have one fully functional mojo!! ... just a shame I am busy all day tomorrow as I would have happily sat and made cards all day!!!

Melissa sorry for delay, I am returning your PM now :)
