  • Flourgirl Some parents need a kick up the rear.. With a mother that reacts in that way, is their any wonder that the child steals. Its disgraceful. Hopefully the school will step in and take the appropriate action ?

Saveapenny Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Hope you feel abit better soon.

Rainmac Hope DS feels better soon. If you are in doubt as to his well being as others have said. Straight to A + E . Just remember to tell them that dr xx said he was ok. Same goes if you are unable to get an appointment, should he need one. Tell receptionist that you will take him to A + E and explain that you couldnt have a gp appointment ;) Seems to have the desired effect :)

Skiergirl Hope your back is feeling better soon. Back pain is awful, hurts to sit, stand or lie down. Im sufferring at the minute with my back :( The physio on my leg is 'straightening me up' so its pulled my back out of wack again :(

Everyone I need to do a blog hop tonight ,to leave comments. I have had a look at all your beautiful cards and crafts.

Well i am a happy bunny tonight after a few bad months healthwise. I have today received the 'all clear' on the one that i had my recent operation for. I am so relieved and happy. Now that worry is out the way i can concentrate on participating more and crafting again :)

It's quiet on here tonight. Has anyone got a flippin woman crafters background at all they could email me please? Is there even a background? I have made one for my mil's bday but i haven't done it like a proper flippin card i just put the images on a card then cut around the image exposing the inside of the card so it needs something behind it iyswim

I guess i could put some paper that looks like wall paper behind it so she looks like she is in a room.

i would like some flippin xmas, Do you thing £2.00 is the cheapest around for the La Pashe Flippin Aperture Cards & Envelopes you get 2 in a pack.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Choccy - congrats on the all clear-look forward to seeing more of you!

Padster - a haircut and a Radley bag - result!

Flourgirl - what a rotten thing to do to Willow - and I agree with everyone else's comments about the mother!

Rainmac - I really hope your little one is a bit better now. It's heartbreaking when they are poorly - I always feel so helpless.

Saveapenny - so sorry to hear things are bad with you. Please take care of yourself x

Well, I managed to make a card tonight - more purple - I just can't help myself. Will hopefully get round to logging it sometime soon!

Can anyone remember an on-line shop that does a batch of Bazzill cardstock to match the Basic Grey paper pack. I won the BG Eerie papers but I'd love to get the matching card stock. Ta!

Jailhousebabe - I can see you're here ;). Did you get your dissertation done in time ?

I've been easing myself in slowly today - I''m absolutely shattered! I did hand in the dissertation, but I'm not very happy with it.
It was complete in as much as there were no sections missing, but I hadn't realised how few words the statistical analysis would add to the word count. If I'd realised, I would have added a lot more to my literature review - I'd kept it fairly concise as I hate to see waffle in academic articles. So, the dissertation was a few thousand words below the word limit. :o Nothing I can do about it now though so I'll try not to worry.

I've got a busy couple of days coming up now. My friend's husband is putting a laminate floor down in the front reception room downstairs (it's been little more than a junk room for the last 5 years). I'm going into Solihull for shopping with friends on Saturday, then Sunday I'll be moving all of my crafting stuuf from the bedroom to the front room downstairs. I'm going to try to create my own little crafting corner. :)

It's good to be back, hopefully I'll have cards to post soon.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
