Melissa - Joy, the lady organising seemed to think they'd be OK in the post but I'd rather take them in person. It rather depends on DH as I would never drive that far (Barnsley) - but he's very busy at the moment - he did say he'd pay for them to be delivered if we couldn't go.:D I've just been getting them all boxed up and I've got to write a note to go with them.

The Wife - I'll put your contribution towards postage in the envelope with my note so Joy can use it for their transport costs. Thank you once again for the thought.

Sillyinthepast - Thank you for the cut outs they are fabulous - can't wait to try them.

Flourgirl mentioned we might do cards for other ocassions - Joy said that Valentine cards would have to be with her by 3/4th January ....................and she accepts cards all the year round for birthdays etc.

This is my card with die cuts/scrap AND my lace card for the craftyplace challenge. I hope it can count for both. The backing 'paper' was off an old folder I rescued from the bin @ work as it had a nice texture, the tiny flowers, the swirl, & the scalloped circle were all cut from left over bits of card. The ribbon & lacy coaster are new and the central flower was a gift from lovely kind hearted Rusty.

Many years ago, I made all my gift tags with lacy coasters similar to these 'sandwiched' between an image cut from the previous years Xmas cards and a plain piece of card & threaded with ribbon.

Mega quicky -I started at the end and am working my way back, but just had to say something to Mel.

Mel - in the 2nd picture of Elliott he's making the baby sign language sign for 'I love you'! We use it all the time in our house. By the way he is just too scrummy!
