Evening all, - happy birthday to Kaitlyn - loving the hat:T
As usual fantastic cards on all the blogs I've visited - Rainmac - what a lovely card for a new granny!
I've been reading with interest about the posts about the nesties - as a relative newbie to card making but totally addicted - thinking of bigger and better things to get esp. near to christmas as Santa may be watching/listening!!. Is a cuttlebug the same as a sizzix?? When I was at Harrogate the chap from craft bug let me have a go at the sizzix and was quite impressed at what can be done - but most of you seem to have the cuttlebug - knowing what you know would you stick with the cuttlebug and does it do all the things a sizzix does?
Finally - would it be silly to get one now - do you think I should wait until more experienced:confused:

    Sorry Ali can't help, I haven't got either/any die-cutter, sob sob :(;)
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

sorry i'm not about much at the moment work is super hectic and something had to give and this was it. i'm keeping up to date with this, but the blogs have had to go for now sorry x
  • Sorry I didn't get round to commenting on everyone's creations before - I was halfway through posting when my new washing machine turned up _ I've only managed to get back on the pc now!!!

Dragonflew - really pretty challenge card - love those new flowers!!!

Rainmac - your boy's card are great - such a clever way of using up scraps. Those eskimo papers look gorgeous - I think I'll have to cave in and buy them. Gorgeous baby card too - lovely papers.

Flourgirl - really pretty "girls" card - I love those colours together. Your "doodles" card is gorgeous too - love the image and the faux stitching.

Dawnteabag - super wedding cards - love the effect of the embossing.

Candy - fab verses - I think they all apply to me.

Kim_Possible - lovely cards - my favourite is your adorable ladybird!! I think I'll have to buy some of those punches as I haven't got a cuttlebug.

Sally - sorry to hear you've had a bad day. Your cards are great - love how you've used the card candy.

    Popkins - fabulous wedding hamper.

Rusty - yep - we're getting loads of smiles out of him - no giggles yet though.

The_Wife - what an amazing gift for Kaitlyn - so thoughtful of you.

Mary - glad your OH is feeling better today.

Louby - no wonder you were annoyed with your friend - how rude!!! Your creations look amazing though - my favourites are your calendars.

Furrypig - you got some great things there!!! Dragonflew - your card is stunning, flourgirl - I love those trees, and what a pretty card from chocolate.orange.

And finally - remember the new papers from imaginisce ???? well the shop that has them in stock is offering free postage this weekend if you spend over 15 quid:
