Woo hoo :j:j:j Thank you Rainmac and for setting the challenge - I will email you later (I can't do it from this pc and my PM box is full :o)

Thank you all for the ideas about craft knives, I usually use a small pair of scissors, but the card I did last week needed a bit cutting out in the middle (iyswim) and I was a bit stuck for how to do it.

Rusty - glad you had a good time at Legoland :D

Bunbun - hope you have a fab time at Disneyland :D

Mary - hope your back/leg improves soon

Dawn - fab cards - I love the baby one :T

Louby - lovely baby cards :T

Marg - hope you feel better soon and it is 'just' a sore throat

Choccy - hope you feel better soon too

rainmac- gorgeous card for your dad, glad you're feeling better today :T

Ali b - welcome to the thread :hello:

gemma - great idea for a new challenge :j

I think I have the template Dawn was looking for, so will try and find the link later in case Rusty can't get into her garage :D

Thats what i was thinking of :rotfl:
Wish i had inherited my mums talent for sewing and i would love to be able to cross stitch . After seeing how beautiful your creations are its really something i wished i could do.

I wish I could use a sewing machine or sew by hand properly (can cross stitch but not do real sewing). I've seen people using a sewing machine to stitch paper and then put it on a card. I'd love to do that ;)

Melissa, Cliff Richard will always be to me, Riff Pilchard. It goes back to the 60's and Dave Lee Travis and Radio Caroline. I just hear those four drumbeats and him singing the Eurovision song, Congratulations.

Sad init? But it does help the memory box and now it won't go away:eek:

There was one of those mini sewing machines being given away with a subscription to one of the card making mags this month.

Love the stamp rainmac, lets have a shufty at your card when you make it.

The Wife slopes off to have a casual look at Crafty Individuals, all the while whistling Riff Pilchard, can't get the bliddy tune out of me head!!

Here you go, housework was on the cards this afternoon but hey, the new stamp was calling me... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/ ;)

It's a rubber stamp that I stuck straight onto an acrylic block but I think it would help if I put some of that foamy stuff on it. Has anyone done this and if so, what's best to buy???

I did see that offer but I will probably be rubbish with it. My mum has got a sewing machine, once the monkeys have gone back to school I may go round and dust it off and try and have a go. My mum and dad will think I've completely lost the plot saying I want to sew paper but there you go
