I am so jealous, I want to take my monkeys to Disneyland Paris, I went the first year it opened (I was 17 I think and it was my first holiday without my m&d) :D
    .

I have great memories of there, I got engaged at disneyland paris on the stroke of midnight at cinderella's castle as new year fire works were going off and we were sipping a glass of wine. Agh! He was romantic once :rotfl:

I am making a ruby card for in -laws i was going to make an arty farty cake but i haven't the time now so i have red a A4 card once folded but the silly stall didn't have envelopes so i need a A4 envelope. I am thinking i will just have to use a brown postal one and tart it up a bit. It is going to take me ages to make as i want to put a champagne bottle on the front with there pic on it. I have found a template for the bottle but the trick will be actually making it look like a bottle of champagne. As much as i love doing cards i am not really that arty.

    congrats skiergirl :T
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30
    but i want never gets!!!

Hi, ladies ( & any gents!), I have decided to have a go at making my own cards, and getting a bit of brain drain as been reading through the various forums, and getting totally confused on how to start - have bought a couple of mags. but they dont seem to have an absolute beginners guide, I was wondering if anyone could give an idea as to how to get started I have got a list of bits I need i.e. scissors, card etc. but which glue is best and how do stamps work - do you colour them in? Or is a lot of the work done on computer. Do you just stick the patterned paper to the blank card?? Hope this makes sense:rolleyes: Sorry its a long post any ideas/suggestions are welcome. All your card pictures have truly inspired me as they are all beautiful - just hope I can be as good. Thanking you all in advance.:o
