Welcome Ali.B, you're in the right place. All the lovely peeps on here will help with your enquiries.
It will be your decision as to how you can make your cards. Some love putting bought decorative papers on their cards, adding images that have been stamped/embossed, placing stickers, decorations and embellishments on. Some will print papers that they've bought or found as a freebie and use them, it's all down to personal choice.
Keep looking at blogs, try a challenge or two when you're happy but most of all, enjoy your crafting time. Check out a few online craft stores, there's usually a link to their blog and links to other blogs as well. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

Louby-Lou-Lou - fab baby cards - I love your decoupaged images.
Rainmac - glad you're feeling better! Have you got much left to do for your craft fair, have you thought about printing off some leaflets/ business cards so that people can contact you? Those pink petticoat images are lovely, I daren't buy any downloads though because my printer is misbehaving again!! Your Dad's birthday card is brill. I can't belive you got all those stamps free!!!!
Skiergirl - congratulations!
chocolate.orange - sorry to hear you're still poorly!
Ali.b.123 - hello and welcome to the thread! I use double-sided tape for everything, it can be expensive if you buy it in a craft shop, poundland and the 99p shops sell packs of it. If you've got a decent printer you can make some fab cards really cheaply. I tend to buy everything I need online - its so much cheaper, but I tend to wait until a shop is having a sale or is offering free postage before I order.
Gemm - thanks for setting the challenge, I'll have to dig my stitching templates out!
The_Wife - who is Riff Pilchard??????????0 -
I received more fabulous baby cards today from chocolate.orange, paddingtondoo and dawnteabag. Thank you so much ladies - they are all fabulous, I'll add them to my blog later!!!0
