I had someone pull out infront of me on thursday. I also was only going slow but am really suffering with whiplash and I think I have damaged my back even more cause I am in constant agony. Hope you and your OH are ok.
Unfortunately with lorries from abroad they are left handed and they don't always see (I used to drive a left handed car so know how strange it can be) Also Lorries don't feel things they hit i.e cars/animals etc etc as they have such a heavy load with just the trailer attatched.
Sending you massive hugs.
Sorry ladies I am trying to keep up with the thread but not posting much. hope everyone is ok xx
Hi Rusty
You poor thing, sorry it has made your back even worse and you've got whiplash now too. Both me and DH have been lucky and had no after effects (I've had whiplash several times before and know how bad the pain and other symptoms from just that can be)
I think the fact we were going to a family do the following day helped, as it helped me focus on something else. I drove a couple of days later - a therapeutic trip to the Glitter pot :rotfl:
I hope you get your car sorted out quickly and that you've managed to drive too (sorry if you've said you have but I'm still trying to catch up)
Sending you massive hugs too xx0 -
Skiergirl - so glad you're OK - nice to see you back.
Melissa - pleased to hear Elliott is behaving at the moment.
Bunbun - love your swing card-the embossing looks fab - and your cutting looks much neater than mine on my first attempt!
Craftygranny - your Christmas cards are lovely. The idea for the bottle card is brilliant though - just right for difficult men (isn't that all of them....)
Myz - your stitched card is really pretty.
Dragonllew - I clicked on your blog and just grinned - what a fab anniversary card.
Lei - your colouring is amazing.
Rainmac - gorgeous BG card - the colours are lovely and subtle.
Flourgirl - wow! As someone else said it looked great before, but now it's fantastic!0 -
Sorry the hear about your accident Skier - glad you're both ok - what was the Gliterpot like? Did you buy anything?
Everyone's making such great stuff at the mo that's there's too much to mention each of you.
I battled with a tri shutter card today but couldn't be bothered to go upstairs for 12x12 card so made it with A4 and it wouldn't shut properly at first but I encouraged it with a bonefolder :rotfl:.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
