Hi everyone still not been crafting I am afraid but today I do have a good reason even though it is off topic(sorry)
DSCF0093.jpgThis is Izzy the 8 week old puppy we picked up today. We have been getting ready for her for weeks and after the sad event last week we decided to go ahead with picking her up. We hope she might give the kids something possitive to focus on. Hope you dont mind me posting her pic.

Mumhug, what breed is this gorgeous pup? She looks a real softy.

    Morning ladies :hello:

Just popping on to say I'm back from hols. They started badly as a 40 ft lorry hit our car on the motorway on the way down. Luckily we're ok but the car might be a write off - its driveable but its damaged so much bodywork..

Furry - did you see me wave at you when I was shopping in Guildford last week :rotfl:

I haven't had chance to read through any of the posts I've missed, so I hope everyone is ok, ((HUGS)) to those who need one xx

Oh sorry Skiergirl I must have missed you!! Shame u could have come in for a cuppa!! Did u find any bargains??? Prob not in Guildford!

Hope you're not too shaken up, skiergirl. Was the lorry a UK one as most lorry's here in the UK have speed limiters. Can't be said about those coming from outside our borders. OH is a tanker driver. Rest assured that the police took his tacho away for study.

It was a foreign lorry driver who didn't see us because he was left hand drive . After he'd hit us he carried on shunting us sideways down the road until he heard my DH hooting the horn  as he still didn't see us. I was driving but was too shaken to do anything, luckily DH realised and hit the horn. We're both ok , thankfully we were going quite slowly otherwise it might have been a different story
  • I've just read pages 100 - 116 :D
There have been some gorgeous things made, I'm sorry but there's too many to mention individually so a huge :T:T:T to everyone. I'll try and catch up with the rest tomorrow :o

You have been very very lucky. I hope you are ok, and I hope you have managed to get back in the car and drive asap. I know it sounds silly but if you don't then you will always be scared to do so.
I had someone pull out infront of me on thursday. I also was only going slow but am really suffering with whiplash and I think I have damaged my back even more cause I am in constant agony. Hope you and your OH are ok.

Unfortunately with lorries from abroad they are left handed and they don't always see (I used to drive a left handed car so know how strange it can be) Also Lorries don't feel things they hit i.e cars/animals etc etc as they have such a heavy load with just the trailer attatched.

    Sending you massive hugs.

Sorry ladies I am trying to keep up with the thread but not posting much. hope everyone is ok xx
