rainmac - I forgot about my baby card for melissa, thanks for entering my name :) hope you are feeling better soon from the flu xx my mum has MS as well but thankfully she's never been really bad with it, she just gets very tired a lot

thanks for all your kind messages, the cat is now home from the vets and is in her cage for the forseeable future, my mum says she has one of those lampshade hats on to stop her licking the wounds, I will be popping round at some point over the weekend to have a fuss. they've had her since I lived at home and it's funny how pets become part of the family so quickly. They also have another cat and a dog, and they both knew something was up as she was gone, and kept looking at my mum strangely yesterday wondering where she was :) it's nice to know that they notice too lol

  • Hi all,

I've been making my own cards for ages. I have some great links with advice to get people started, but I'm not able to post links as a new user! I'll have to write some other messages first, and then I'll post them!

Popkins - Thank you for my downloads - MIL's cleaning done then a bit of shopping. Love the way your pocket cards 'open' I've done a similar design but because it wasn't cut it didn't open! Thank you. If you want anything 'cuttleing' let me know so I can return the favour.

Rainmac - sorry you've been poorly especially on a "week off" hope you soon feeling better. Fab things on your blog!

Choccy - Sorry you too have been poorly - get well soon!

Gemma - Oh dear! another poorly cat, what a worrying time for your parents. Glad to hear she's recovering. Are you any nearer getting your own cat?

Well Done Furry on getting 5 right! Not looked yet today if anyone else done better.......

    Welcome Chrismade

    Get well soon Choccy

Popkins I was going to ask you for the instructions for those pocket cards and I forgot so thank you for posting it
When I got your card I loved it but it did make me want a cadbury's caramel...lol
To leave your entry on FF just leave a comment with a link to your blog HTH
Wedding stuff....what I have done is made a album full off invites and matching stationary and then at teh back but a sheets of fonts and various papers and various wording
I worked my prices out by what they cost then adding on a small profit on each card ( but not for hels...lol)
A basic card day invite I would only charge about £1.50 but for some of the pockets I would charge upto £3 but all depending on what was ordered
Its a lot of work putting the album together but people want to see what you make before they order so its been well worth it.
I order all my unusal stuff from PDACRAFTS as the prices are quite good for wallets + they let you order 1 of things to get your album started, They will also send you out a swatch set to inc in your album
If you want any more help setting it up let me know
I want a web site now bt my son is dragging his heels getting it going

on CP the winner still as 5 ...there were 2 on 5 but one guessed again and dropped down :(

I have had a lovely day today...crafting for part of it ( Hels invites, and 2 orders) then my sister came and brought my 2 year old nephew who is an absolute delight to be around. We then went out for a meal , I watched BB then went crafting again....Life dont get much better lol
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

Sounds like you had a fab days saveapenny :D

Gemm, tiredness is my main problem too. It can be such a drag but if I am sensible then I usually get on ok. Please give your mum and dad's poorly cat a big get well soon stroke from me. The worst accident that has ever happened to our cat Ben was my OH shut his tail in the front door  He had to have stitches and one of those collar thingies which he didn't like at all. The vet thought he would loose the feeling in his tail but thank goodness he didn't. He was very wary around doors for a few months after that ;)

I am feeling a bit better today so maybe it's not piggy flu after all, how are you supposed to know if they won't test you ??? GP said to keep taking Tamiflu whether I feel better or not. Anyway, OH has taken the monkeys to the supermarket, he is sooooo not going to enjoy that

What do you think of the new Lili of the Valley stamps... http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/acatalog/Pre_Order_Stamps.html
    I love them :D
