Afternoon all, hope everyone is feeling a tad better now that the warm weather is here.

Super cards everyone and Kim, I love the stitching cards, beautiful.

I've just emerged from me craft space after a marathon retirement card make. I've actually fully completed my first decoupage card. I'm quite pleased, OH is very pleased as it's for his mate. I'll post a pic on the blog later.

Thanks for the link, whoopi, Brilliant blog candy and Simon Says Stamp is a fave ebay shop of mine. His Prima flowers are always a brilliant buy especially if you want something different. I love Basic Grey but love it so much I don't use it unless it 's extra special. I've got some Scarlett's Letter that i don't think I'll ever use, can't bear the thought of covering up! Nuts! Yep!
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

Whoopidoo - thanks for the link - I've entered too!

Hels - yes I'd love to see your dress! Oh what a shame your friend can't be here for your wedding.

Popkins - emailed you some snowflakes last night.

Is it this weekend Rusty was going to Legoland? Hope you were well enough to go!

I've seen very recently (last week!) a dragon freebie download that I'd like to use as a dinosaur but can't find it anywhere despite a thorough search! Can anyone else remember it? And tell me where it is? THANK YOU!

So many cards to make - so little time! Thanks to Saveapenny though I've one less to make this week for my brothers birthday.:T

Hi Marg, this is Rusty's weekend in Legoland so I hope that's why she hasn't been on here and not because they are all poorly ;)

The dragon freebie is here x

THANK YOU rainmac I was getting desperate - my niece is due to have her baby tomorrow & I want to send a 'big brother' card to my great nephew who is currently obsessed by dinosaurs. Age 3 and a holy terror I believe, I don't envy my niece, sadly, we're too far away to offer practical help.

Rainmac- i just adapted the tri fold card that u post on CP
    http://www.videojug.com/webvideo/how-to-create-your-own-triangle-tri-fold-card

Initially, i just made it an inch longer, adding two extra scores at 4 and 7.5, , but this was too big for my size of post its.

My post its were 3x3 x0.45 [wide].
So i cut card 9.9 long x 3 wide [in hindsight i would have made this 3.25]
    scoring at 3, 3.45, 6.45 and 6.9
score diagonals [as in the video] on the first and last 3x3
    fold

    Hope this helps
EDIT: Here is a [dodgy] diagram of what i mean, th_Untitled.jpg

Hi everyone, blimey Ive only been away 10 days and I come back to about 30 pages and a new thread

Melissa Congratulations to you and your family on the birth of gorgeous Elliot I'm so pleased he arrived safely. I think I must have driven my DH mad everyday I kept saying "I wonder if Melissa has had her baby yet" he always replied "I told you to bring the laptop". It was worth the wait to see the pictures, he is so so gorgeous, I adore babies. I could do the night shift for you as I seem to be up regularly during the night, it would be better for me to cuddle a baby than eat 2 slices of toast!

Rainmac Thank-you so much for your beautiful card full of suprises, it was lovely to have something other than bills to open, you're very kind thank-you xx

Rusty I gave you a big wave from the Aldi car park last Saturday, dont know where you are in relation to it but hope you saw me :rotfl:

Off to make some dinner now cos I'm starving, catch up later........

Welcome back Flourgirl - we've missed you!

O/T We were over your side of the country yesterday as DH decided to go to the LAA rally at Sherburn. It was a disappointment, not many interesting planes at all. Today we went to the Flying display over Blackpool seafront that was fantastic! The last flying Vulcan, a Spitfire, Hurricane, and Lancaster bomber followed by the Red Arrows! Walked my legs off & got blisters on my heels but worth it!

This is the card I made for Melissa & the challenge on here. (Thanks to rainmac for providing the photo on here)
