Hi Skiergirl I have a small pair of Pergamano curved scissors for cutting decoupage and the craft knives I use are the poundland ones you get about 10 on a card, they have snap off blades. I personally find these better than the expensive craft knives and the set of 10 lasts ages. You can buy swivel knives for decoupage and coluzzle but Ive never had a go with one so dont know what they are like.

Why is it when you type a long post it dissapears as soon as you press the button:confused:

    Right start again

Rainmac Fab things on your blog, I love the FF challenge card its so chic:T and the quote book for your Dad is just perfect.:T Well done on the card orders and selling 2 nappy cakes, I wouldn't worry too much about selling things at your craft fair as you seem to be on a roll at the moment. Well deserved too... go girl go....

Dawnteabag Your craft room looks great, I wonder how long it will stay that tidy:D

Dragonllew Lovely cards on your blog, I love the messy rabbit one :T

Marg Gorgeous baby card, gorgeous baby!! :T Sorry your day a Sherburn was rubbish but it sounds like the Blackpool display made up for it. My DH would have loved it, the Vulcan and Lancaster are 2 of his favourites.

Kim Love your stitched cards, and the papercrafted prams are fab :T I love the post it holder too, think I might have a go at one of those :D

Melissa I hope the baby is being good for you and that you are getting plenty of rest, have you got 2 extra little helpers lol

Flourgirl - I do have 2 "helpers". They are really keen to help, running off to get me nappies and baby wipes! The oldest is obsessed with taking photos of him at the minute.

Skiergirl - sorry I don't use a craft knife. I use a cheap pair of curved nail scissors for cutting my decoupage.

I wonder if someone can help me!!? As I said the other day I've got the possibility of doing wedding invitations for a couple of weddings next year, as I have never done wedding invitations before I want to have a play and also as Saveapenny suggested the other day it would be good to put together some designs however, my mind is a bit blank & I don't know where to start!!! Anyway, please could someone 'challenge' me to design some wedding stationary for their 'fictitious' wedding - giving me info of colour scheme or anything else 'theme' wise they would give to someone they were ordering stationary from? ... I know I'm a bit mad! Anyway if any of you are happy to do that for me I think that might actually get my creative thoughts going... I hope!!

    thankyou in advance!!

Have you looked on websites that sell handmade wedding cards and you could 'use' their ideas ;)??? Everything I make for Fairytale Wedding Stationery is white or ivory card and smallish coloured embellishments. All designs can be made with any colour embellishments so if you only had 3 designs but 10 colourways, that's like 30 choices. Does that make sense? Does that help at all?
