I 'did' or 'tried to do' yesterday which is why I'm doing the stressing today as I'm rubbish :rotfl:... I need a craft buddy.. little Myz tries but she's only 4 and has *the* most weird ideas :rotfl:

Lovely pages on your blog... I must admit I really love the newer one more.. I think that's what most of mine will look like for 'personal' books. It gives the impression of *fun* if you see what i mean... which is what the page was all about I think :)
I'm sure they were not that bad! (4 year old have a tendancy to stick AS MUCH as possible on to one sheet of paper!!) Did you post pictures of them for us to see? We can be your virtual crafty buddies :D

Rainmac - Thanks for those links - I've got some beer mats lying around and I bought a pack of those calendars weeks ago, but they're still in their packet!

Jailhousebabe - thanks, I also have trouble with forever friends stamps - I never know what colour to use on the bears!

Myzdamena - have you bought any papers yet for your scrapbooks, if not it might be worth getting yourself a kit that has all the bits you need. If you're interested I'll give you some links to some so that you can see what I mean - what sort of "feel" were you going for - was it vintage or modern etc????? There's a few scrapbooking hours on qvc today - might be worth watching to give you some ideas!

Polly - I've hardly watched any of qvc - I've taped it though, I was hoping to catch the k and co hours but the kids are monoploising the tv now!!!

Craftygranny - crikey that's a lot of papermania paper for 17 quid - I'm quite tempted I've never bought any of their paper before - is it worth it????

Jamtart - your layouts are fabulous - I love your colours on your great barrier reef one.

    .

No not yet.... but craftygranny came up with 2 ideas that look great and would do for both...I think maybe not Smirk-style if you know what I mean, she is 90 and don't want to give her a heart attack lol

As for QVC been going goggle eyed watching create and craft all morning and laughing at the presenters... Little Myz and I do like to have a little titter and a live-presenter watch sometimes as it's so funny :rotfl:

Melissa i have quite a few papermania ones and they are nice but the quality isn't the same as basic grey . I would say they are a bit thinner but they look great i use a lot of them.

I tend to buy loads when they are cheap to make cards for the school to sell and my o/h mum to sell as she sells them for guide dogs as she is blind.

Myz i'm really tempted by the 2 packs as you get pastel and vintage and you get other things in the packs as well as papers . The vintage would be great for your nan i reckon and pastel are so versatile you can use them for anything lol.

Just posted a packet to you so watch for the postie myz

That papermania stash is great value for money - I have quite a bit of it and it's great if you're starting out but if you have a Basic Grey addiction you might find it a bit flat.

Great range of colours and designs - I use lots of it as I don't have to cut up my "best" stuff then.

Check the craftsuperstore sale page as a lot of those papers are reduced - 6x6 99p!
