been playing with an idea - do you think it works ?? the square that makes up the house is a photo frame that can be taken off the house and put on a fridge or other magnetic surface - if you buy the card you can insert a photo of your choice before giving it to the recipient

my sister is a fan of plain and simple cards - less is more
which isn't our usual style of card but I think I'm getting there especially with the silver car card I'm really pleased with that one
I also like the novelty factor of the grandad card

I got a bow and tassle maker for my birthday yesterday, and the instructions that comes with it make a flat bow, and not one that looks like a cross IYSWIM.

I have been clearing out my laptop as I am getting a new one next week, and thought I had saved a tutorial that I think, the Wife - posted up ages ago. I can't find it and can't find anything on youtube that shows me how to make a 'cross' bow with one of these. Can anyone help?

    Thanks xx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

The meal was lovely thank you and I managed to squeeze in 3 courses! I shouldn't have because I didn't finish the main as it was so big - chicken souvlaki with salad and chips, any my mum always said you can't have a pudding if you don't eat your dinner:rotfl::rotfl:, but who can resist a slice of lemon meringue pie - I can't its my favourite:D. All washed down with a glass of wine. Paying a bit for it today, as I still feel really full and have only eaten a cheese sandwich all day.

I had a great day with lots of lovely present. And the best thing I got was an offer letter for a new job, which i'll start in mid March. Working in the same field that I am now, but only 3 days a week, with no hassles or stress. So for 2 days a week I can craft, and have a bit of me time, that I haven't had for a while. I am so happy about the new job.

Enjoy your Italian on Valentines day xx

  • Hey,
I made a Valentines card which I am soooo chuffed with for oh. I made the front from a gorgeous clothes label with raised shiny lettering.
Does anyone know where I can buy card with patterns/words like this?! I've found raised material, but it's velvety which I don't want!
