CraftyJuJu - your cake looks delicious - your OH is very lucky!!!!

Clairac - hello and welcome to the thread!!! When you mentioned sites for beginners did you mean sites where you can find inspiration or where you can buy supplies???? A good place to start is by looking at people's blogs on here. If you see any supplies that you like we can tell you the cheapest place to buy them from. When first starting out its so easy to spend a fortune on things that you'll never use - I know I regretted a lot of my purchases!!! If you want I can give you a list of where I get a lot of my things from!!!

Lou05 - I haven't been to Hobbycraft for ages but from what I can remember it is much cheaper buying papers online especially if you order from shops that have sales on or free postage offers on. Was there any particular paper that you were after???

Thats what I was thinking - I went into hobby craft, only bought 3 sheets (didnt really pay much attention to the price stupidly!) but 1 of the sheets were £1.45 ... I couldnt believe it but was too embarressed to say anything lol!

Lou - a few years ago I was heavily into K and Co papers - I bought loads online for about 36p a sheet - I couldn't believe it when I went into Hobbycraft and they were about 50 - 60p each!!!!! What brand did you want - I'm into My Minds Eye and October Afternoon at the minute ???

Rusty – well done to your DD for the dry nights, you must be really pleased. I’d be interested too in ordering bits and pieces through your to for some of the Craftworks stuff.

JHB – how did your DDs first week at work go?

Mad-frog – great male birthday cards – well done.

The Wife – hope you have had a great day and been thoroughly spoilt. Love your Grandaughter’s Hannah Montana cards, bet she loves it.

Sally – beautiful baby clothing bouquet.

Glittermum – well done on making so much with just 3 of you, and for getting your child into the school you wanted. I’m waiting for the letter to see if my son is going to get into the High School we want, but it would come until the end of March.

    Great t-bag cards Giggle.

    Welcome to the thread Claire.

Looks like a really delicious cake Crafty JuJu, hope your OH enjoys it, if you manage to keep it safe until Sunday!
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
