happy birthday the wife and happy birthday CT for yesterday. sorry for the one red word my laptop is not playing properly...

I have nearly finished my scrapbook - only 2 pages to go. good job as my brother is coming to visit tomorrow. then I will be able to get back onto this thread and card making. every spare minute has been spent on the scrapbook - I can't believe how long it has taken:eek:

have to tidy the house today for parents and brother's visit - rusty if you thought your's was bad!

I have made a mega ****** with the NEC and just realised I haven't asked for the time off work - unless I can get someone to cover my lesson I don't think I will be able to make it. I only work 1 hour that day. I am so :mad::mad:
well done to DD rusty give her a big cuddle from me

Oooh you was busy last night!! :j I need pics of the last few pages ;) :rotfl: I told OH about it last night ... he has said I can take pics out of his wedding album (I asked!!) which could possibly mean I can chuck it in the bin after ... heres hoping!

Hope you can sort out for the NEC, I need the prods and pokes to keep me awake :rotfl:

Glittermum that is fab news :j :j and what a lovely poem!

Not caught up on posts from last night but today is a special day as DD has been dry for 11 nights, so last night I took the bull by the horns and put a bed mat on her bed and didn't put any nappy on her :j :j she was still dry this morning :j :j :j I am soooo proud of her! :) she even woke daddy up at 7:30 with a phone call to tell him ;)

as for craftwork card orders - I need to look into it a little more but don't see why it shouldn't be possible and cheaper for all of us to do it that way ;) will get OH to have a nosey this weekend :)

Wow! Rusty! Thats my kinda cake, it looks like a helter-skelter type so off to put on the purple cozzie and see if I can whizz down that 5 miles an hour. No need for a crash helmet, just hoping NOT to land with legs akimbo!

Thank you all again for your lovely birthday greetings. :D

    Hiya Girls,

Sorry to jump in on your thread - Does anyone know where (Aprt from auction sites!) where I can sell some craft stuff? I normally sell on a forum but that has been suspended until further notice.

    Thanks xxx

Oh, and edited to say - Happy Birthday! :)

babyfreckles, have you tried UKscrappers? I know a couple of seasoned crafters who have found that Ebay is one of the best. Is it stash you no longer want or craft items that you've made?

Some verses for tea bag cards, not sure if any can be adapted for your Mother's Day card Giggle

    (1) CHRISTMAS
    Even though we're far apart
We can still share Christmas in our hearts,
So on Christmas Day at half past three
Make yourself a cup of tea,
And sit beside your Christmas tree
While I think of you, please think of me.

    (2) FRIENDSHIP
Our friendship is like tea ~
A special blend of you and me

    (3) MILES DIVIDE US
    Though the miles divide us
    It's possible to be
    Together in our thinking
As we make a cup of tea.
So, let's both put the kettle on
    And make ourselves a brew
And as you drink and think of me
I'll drink and think of you.

    (4) MISS YOUR PRESENCE
    I really miss your presence
I like to hear your views,
I wish that we could visit
And catch up on the news.
Since we can't do that often
The one thing I can see,
Is that we can dream together
And have a cup of tea!

    (5) SIT DOWN TOGETHER
I wish we could sit down together
And drink a cup of tea,
    But since we can't
    When you drink this one
I hope you'll think of me

    (6) THANK YOU

A cup of tea to say Thank You
For all the things you've done,
And wishes that the day will bring you
    Happiness and fun!

    (7) THINK OF ME
There are too many miles between us
to let me come to you
So I'm sending you a little tea bag
and this will have to do
Make yourself a cup of tea
    and when you drink it
    THINK OF ME.

    (8) CHAT

I cannot sit and chat with you,
The way I'd like to do.
So brew yourself a cup of tea,
I'll think of you, you think of me.

    (9) HUGS
When you're feeling sad & blue
And have no clue what to do
Sit down and have a cup of tea
And a hug or two or maybe three
    Feel those troubles melt away
And start you on a better day.

Rusty Well done to Maddison :T

THE WIFE HAPPY BIRTHDAY :bdaycake: Have a fabby day. Can't believe you were up eating choccies at 5am and on the computer half an hour later!

Glittermum Great news that you got into the school and well done on all those bookmarks etc.

I need to pop out today, I'm off to the little haberdashery shop to see if they've got any nice buttons and ribbons I can make use of, then I must catch up on the nasty housework I couldn't manage yesterday. If I get it done today I have the whole weekend to play :T.

Thanks for your speedy reply lol!
Thats what website I was referring to - The market place has been suspended for now and I wanted to sell my cuttlebug machine as I hardly use it anymore. I guess Ebay is my only option! :) Thanks anyway xx
