Hi everyone. Happy belated birthdays to everyone. It was my 30th on Tuesday. It was the worst birthday ever.
I know I'm not on here much but I do still lurk. I've been totally hooked on scrapbooking, so haven't been making cards. But you guys have been making some great cards.
I'm off to the Farnborough Make It show in 2 weeks and I have £150 to spend and I intend on blowing the lotI've finally made my mind up to get a Big Shot.
I got a Crop-a-dile big bite for my birthday and it's great. So so easy to useAnd in answer to my question ages ago it does work with the tiny eyelets.

been playing with an idea - do you think it works ?? the square that makes up the house is a photo frame that can be taken off the house and put on a fridge or other magnetic surface - if you buy the card you can insert a photo of your choice before giving it to the recipient
Smashing idea, sunrise:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
I got a bow and tassle maker for my birthday yesterday, and the instructions that comes with it make a flat bow, and not one that looks like a cross IYSWIM.
I have been clearing out my laptop as I am getting a new one next week, and thought I had saved a tutorial that I think, the Wife - posted up ages ago. I can't find it and can't find anything on youtube that shows me how to make a 'cross' bow with one of these. Can anyone help?
Thanks xx
Hi! CT it was a youtube video that uses the 'easybow' maker, all I do with mine is follow the video with the the pegs/dowels pointing at me, if that makes sense. I'll edit this post when I find it.

They don't appear to stock it as they didn't really know what I meant!! Will have to see if there is another Michaels anywhere close by!!!!
pointofnoreturn, what a shame, that's happened to me in Michaels clutching me coupon and then spot a big sign saying 'no discount on MS stuff' Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

helping hubby sorry you had a carp birthday, me too. Felt yuck all day ( Note to self: don't eat choccie at 5am in the morning, touch of eyes bigger than belly) and then a visit to the osteopath for the back. I felt really rough through out the evening but OH cooked me a lovely dinner that I really could have passed on but felt I should try. A bit of steroid 'cold turkey' I think. So much better now but gutted I couldn't get to Excel London for the Hobby & Stitchcraft Show. Just couldn't drag the sorry b*m along.
I'm going to try and take a piccie tomorrow of the gorgeous birthday cards I've had from the fab MSE'ers on here.
A very quick question - has anyone seen anything like a girl playing footie. My no. 4 grandaughter is into football, plays for the school and local under 9's. If you could see her you'd think, never! She is a real beauty with long blonde hair. All the boys want her on their side and I've seen them, it's not for her footie skills:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
