So far I have made them all by hand while watching TV...I keep saying I'm going to dig out my sewing machine though as I want to make some bigger ones like the rabbit & don't fancy sewing that much again by hand! Will have to blow the dust off the sewing machine though as its been a while since its been used, fingers crossed it still works!
Wow your sock creatures are amazing! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Choccy, how about you buy a machine and give me your old Bug...

Flourgirl, I made Alice's cake yesterday afternoon and it's more than half gone already
I was good and didn't watch QVC and haven't ordered anything either
Hope everyone's ok, it's snowing here x
Can I ask a really daft question - Can someone give me an idiots guide to the Bug please?
I really want to start doing more exciting things with my cards and from all your posts this seems like the most logical thing to buy next but I haven't a clue what exactly it does. Does it come with everything you need or do you buy accessories as you go along? I did try to google but didn't get very far. HELP?0 -

You get a few bits with it but you can buy dies and embossing folders to go with it. They are great and i do really love my bug. Even though its snotty green
;)..
You can use most dies that are available out there and with abit of jiggling they can fit and work. Embossing folders are about £4 each give or take a few 10ps'
Have a look on Ikkis' blog she can do fantastic things with a bug

I've fallen in love with the idea of making toys out of socks, so much so that I went a little mad in the Jan sales...I know what everyone will be getting for Xmas
lol
pinkladymel - I too thought the glitters on QVC were a little too expensive even with the 10p P&P! Theres another programe on at 3pm so may have a peak & see what they have to offer as the TSV has sold out.
:wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:
:j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j0 -
:D Afrain my survival kit was a waste of time, sitting there with my girl guides outfit on too. Never mind, woke up about 12.15 and them couldn't decide what to buy so I bought both.
:o Birthday treat from someone I'm sure. Just got to buy another Really useful Box for them to go in.
I thought the glitter was a tad expensive some some nice stuff there and the circle cutter looked interesting especially how quick you can cut one. Did someone mention an MS scoreboard as I didn't see that just the mat.
:rotfl: don't set me off with the really useful boxes again!!! I have loads of them now and need more as I still haven't enough boxes to put everything in!!Choccy, how about you buy a machine and give me your old Bug...

Hey Mrs would you like to borrow my bug? I can post it down end of this month and you can bring it back at the NEC?
Just added finishing touches (heart and ribbon) to my box I made yesterday
quite happy with it even if it is a little plain! Now I just need to cover some mints, and made a valentines card!
This lady's blog I stumbled upon, think I clicked a link on UKscrappers, I love all her makes and this card in particular has forced me to buy that stamp!!! If you are not already a follower then I really recommend becoming one, she has some beautiful cards and very inspirational!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
