Choccy I think there is a craft outlet, either QVC or Ideal World at Peterborough. Not been myself (daren't) but my friend has.

Oooh i might be brave one day and have a run out there :D Leaving my card at home obviously :rotfl:Im rubbish doing that online as i know my numbers off by heart so i cant even freeze my card for safety :rotfl:
Im really trying to hold of getting one until the NEC just incase theres any offers on them with the new machine coming out... I must say its really really hard but ive been keeping the spendy elves busy elsewhere ;)
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D
  • ali.b123 - Thanks :) So far I have made them all by hand while watching TV...I keep saying I'm going to dig out my sewing machine though as I want to make some bigger ones like the rabbit & don't fancy sewing that much again by hand! Will have to blow the dust off the sewing machine though as its been a while since its been used, fingers crossed it still works! :)
    :wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

:j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j
  • Flourgirl - funny how you get an image in your head about how someone looks , how old they are etc - I would never have thought you were old enough to have a son that age, I visualised you with much younger children - what a gorgeous couple they make - you must be very proud

glittermum - thanks for the link - the silhouette stamps are gorgeous. Oh no here come the spendy elves :)

TSL hope you can see straight after all the paint stripper - nasty stuff

Lei - your card and Little Musing are great. How cute are those hedgehogs.

flourgirl - Your son got married at Stonehenge. Wow just had a wee peek at the pics and they are stunning. Love your DIL's dresses. They are like what I have been looking at - OH and I want to have a very celtic/Scottish wedding on the banks of Loch Lomond and love looking at these types of weddings.

Hoping to get back to my crafting tonight - I need to get OH's birthday card made.

Don't know an awful lot about these as I am a new owner but I would just like to say that you can use different softwares with the robo/silhouette/wishblade! Last week I used the software for the silhouette machine and this week I am using the software for the robo! you can download freebies from all over the place if you know where to look (I have done this without any problems) you can also buy for a small fee some of the gsd files which someone else has made.

Also your comment up above which I highlighted in bold. This isn't the case, you can download things from their website and then cut it on a Robo which obviously isn't their machine.

There are also tutorials and other things to do the more MSE things like make your own carrier sheets sticky, and make new carrier sheets instead of paying the fortunes that suppliers charge!!

All in all a good review from me, even though I am still having problems with mine!

Don't know about the cricut, but as has previously been said the silhouette is the same machine ;)

    Hope that helps Jammy :j

Edit: will be back later to catch up on the rest of the posts, just seen the time

The Craft Robo is the same machine as the Silhouette, not the Cricut.. that's a completely different thing!

I was just making the point that different software comes with different products and i'm not sure how you would get the software from another machine unless you bought it (more money) or borrowed it from a friend. The Craft Robo software is really excellent as it's a professional design suite but the Quickutz comes with the option of downloading the specialised templates from their website which requires you to insert the registration code from your Silhouette to register. Things might have changed since I last checked it out.

I have the robo and I love it but if I could go back i'd choose the Cricut because it has a longer cutting range and with the hack software SCAL you can now use it as a Craft Robo - best of both worlds!

Hello - think I'm losing the plot (& the will to live!) I've read all the posts but seem to have forgotten most of what I've read - so sorry if I don't mention you personally.

I would like some brownie points please - I stayed up last night to watch QVC & didn't spend! Mind you, this morning I thought I'd just maybe get the butterfly set 'cos I liked the big fan punch & they've all gone.

Flourgirl - I hope you don't mind I had a nosey too @ the pics of your son's wedding & handbinding. They are stunning! & 2 dresses!

Lei - sorry to hear that your gran isn't getting well as quickly as you hoped. Love the secret card & musings for your BF.

    PLM - welcome back!

Rusty - sorry to hear about your bad hospital visit. Love the card holder wine thingy.

Pointofnoreturn & crafty juju - Welcome! - Lovely makes.

PepPop - hope your family are all feeling better now.

Thrifty - Could you hire a wallpaper stripper? - they do work like magic -but fill your home with steam.

Saucy - I feel timid ALL the time so please don't worry about popping in when you can! Ooh! where are you going to in Spain? Can you speak the language?

Craftygranny - How are all your family getting on? Has Carly got used to her implant OK?

I never said the cricut was the same as the robo!! I said I don't know about the cricut, but the silhouette is the same machine!! Not the cricut!!
I also mentioned that software comes with different machines, I downloaded the software from the silhouette website, I didn't need a code to do this and I was sent the how to from someone on UKscrappers.
For downloading through graphtec you do however need a model number to download from there!

Oh sorry, because it was a different paragraph I assumed it was a new statement and read it that way.

If anybody wants to download the Craft Robo Software for their machines I don't mind giving out my number so they can get it for free ;)
