rainmac - if I told you an amount you may think I'm mad! lol My hubby knows too well what I'm like when I get a new idea in my head that I enjoy...I tend to go a liitle mad getting things. I have to stop myself buying socks I see that I think would make a great creature. Will post a pic on my blog in the future, to give you an idea the amount fits into a large bag!!
I am hoping (once the decorating is all done!) to start making them to sell along side some other bit & bobs, since reading these forums I have found out about Esty (is that right?) the online place I can sell my things, so that is my next step for the year ahead....fingers crossed:wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck Crafty Ju Ju, I think there's a UK one too, is it called Folky or Folksy or something?
So are we talking more than 20 pairs of socks? More than 30 pairs? I'm the same with beautiful paper, just can't leave it in the shop, has to come home with me ;-) If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

3 years ago when I started card making I did the same, I have loads of papers, inks, stickers & stamps packed away in the attitic. Now Emily is older & starting Nursery in Sept I am going to start making cards again too.
I haven't actually counted the socks..I don't think I dare! Hopefully no more that 20, if its more then I did go a little mad. I will have a count later & let you know:wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

Not had chance to come on as baby is very poorly but wanted to say thanks for the offer of butterflys gemma but it is for wedding invites so i would need a hell of a lot so that's why i wanted to buy the stamp. I have found beautiful pre -done wedding butterfly cards that maybe i could tweek from a company in america that looks quite cheap but i don't know if they ship to the uk.
What do 10 year old girls like? I need to make a card tonight when the kids asleep to be sent tomorrow. I haven't a clue what to do. She isn't really into anything at all.

I’ve finally sat and caught up on old posts … some of them are going back a while - sorry, sorry if I miss any too ...
sunrise27 – I really love your basket, I think I’m going to attempt to have a go at them at the weekend but at making slightly bigger ones.
Glittermum – I really love those punches, knew I shouldn’t have clicked on your link!!! I told my hubby that once I’d bought the cricut I wouldn’t need to buy any punches etc, only a few cartridges, I have a feeling a may regret saying that! Any idea how you finsh them off it that makes sense? So you have a ‘bud’ looking bit in the middle?
I also really love your post it note holders!
Lyndach – I’ve only just go into colouring stamps etc, not done very many but I treated myself to a set of promarkers from amazon, I’m really pleased with them.
Craftygranny – that’s great news, keeping everything crossed this end that all goes well!
chocolate.orange – thank you very much for my stamps, they have just arrived. Looking forward to having a colour in with them lol!
The-Wife – I hope you are feeling better!
CT19720 – Lovely cards, I especially love the glittery butterfly!
TomsMom – I love your cards and really love the survival kit … wish I could think of someone to make it for myself!
SallyUK – Just read your post, must have been very shocking! Love your makes and nappy cakes!
RustyFlange – Thank you very much for my stamps, I’m really pleased with them but now toying with buying more myself (oh dear!)
melissa75 – Note to myself … DO NOT turn on QVC lol!
Jazabelle – you sound in exactly the same position as me, I only got into card making after seeing the cricut on the telly and HAD to have it! That was on NYE and now have spend a fortune but in denial lol!
I’m another Essex girl (hummm lol!) where abouts are you based?
Flourgirl – It’s a bit of a mission to make a card to be honest but my 3 year old now is into to trying to make her own ones – she picks what she wants, I set up the circuit and she presses the cut button and then puts them all together, its so sweet! Obviously my 6 month old is not so impressed lol!
JailhouseBabe – Thank you. They were cut on my cricut. I think that I will try and cut a few out and offer to send them to a few people.

I love Dawny P's stuff too, Rusty. I came across her on UKS a few years ago and the cards she made for Pink Gem and Pink Petticoat, amongst others, are what I'd love to make, one day.
I can't tell you how many of the R U Boxes I've even got them under me bed!! That's where I hide my stash.;)
Hi! Lou :hello: I'm better, ta! At work, making mischief 'cos the steroids are giving me such a buzz, last day of tablets (OH calls them throttle pills, cause that's what he want to do when I take 'em) today, yippee. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
