Hello all :j Loving all your works of art -how do you do it :T

melissa - I don't get that much done........not half as much as you lot.........lol:rotfl:
This morning I started covering a box with a slatted lid -ended up taking me till about 3 this afternoon  Oh it was fiddly but I was determined to get it done today..........covered it with paper to put tea lights in for my son's birthday box. Should hold about 10 I think.
Done nothing else at all.............honest, I'm really quite lazy :rotfl:

Where's the link for the sock creatures ? I couldn't manage a sock monkey -fingers not that agile, but something else I might be able to.............(I say might !)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

just ordered my NEC ticket - woop woop!! Now just gotta TRY and not spend anything til then!!! I'm itching to buy either a Craft Robo / Silouhette machine - whats a good price for them? Will be interesting to see if they have any good deals at the NEC... at least its stopped me buying a pink cuttlebug to replace my snot green one!! :o

Having a shocking week - feel really crappy!! Plus my hubby heard yesterday that he didn't get a job he'd interviewed for!! He's still got work (he's a contractor!) but we were really hoping for a permanent job as its sooo difficult to plan anything when he's contracting! :(

Been trying to plough on with sorting/organising my craft room & stash... getting there slowlly!!! Thought I'd post photos so hopefully it will 'shame' me into getting it done quicker!! :o This is supposed to be my 'craft room' but as you can see this morning couldn't even get in the room...

    craftroom1.jpg

It now looks a little better and will take a photo in a min and post later - still a long way to go though!!!!

and photos of our 'spare bedroom' & supposedly my hubby's desk - another room where my crafting & stash have taken over!!!! arrrrggghhh will I ever get it all sorted & organised!!! there is a bed under there somewhere!!!

Sunrise - lovely personalised bookmarks - I'm sure they'll go down well!!!!

Popkins - good luck tidying your craft room - make sure you show us all the "after" pics!!!! Sorry to hear you've been having a bad week!!
  • Lovley work here and on blogs everyone - I seem to be finding it hard to remember to comment though!

Popkins - what a surprise (not!) to see what was on your PC screen!

Saucy - you must come and join us at the NEC - it was lovely last time.

Tomorrow night is the big night for crafting for the MOther's day sale - 400 t bag holders here I come. I need to spend this evening getting everything ready though - hopefully my card order will come when DH is home tomorrow otherwise it will mean an emergency trip to Papermill! I must rememebr to take some photos of the evening in progress!
  • WoW I can't get over how much has happened in the 3 hours I've been away :D

melissa75 - Thankyou :) The fabric is for my kitchen chairs. I've saved Emilys cot bed matress as its foam (its in good nic) & I'm going to cut it up to make cushions for the chairs & cover them with the fabrics. I'm recycling & trying to save some money by updating my chairs rather than buying new ones :)

Popkins - It so nice to see its not just me who has a lot of things :) Mines all at the top of the stairs & in bedroom waiting to be sorted out but I just can't find the time. Good luck with your sorting...I'm doing the kitchen at the mo, clearing out the cupboards, its amazing what you keep hold of thinking it will come in one day! I must be ruthless...I must! lol

mary-op - If you go visit my blog you will see the sock creatures I have made (sorry can't post a link yet!). I got the ideas from the book 'Stray Sock Sewing', its great :)

Sunrise27 - Love the idea for the cards :T there great
    :wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

:j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j
