CT I did get 2 extra mats from Crafts U love as part of the package and I have just opend them to have a look and they have a different backing paper (light green) to the one that came with the machine (opaque) and they seem to be much more sticky. I was just dissapointed with the originals and thought they should last much much longer than that!!
Could I have your email please ;)

Its ok I already have your email addy, just check your mail ;)

Thanks for the emails Flourgirl, i'll send you and Rusty something in return later xx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.

Gemm - lovely vase card - I love how you've used the flower coming out of the vase peel off - really clever!!! Your other cards are fab too - I love the teal coloured one - its my favourite colour at the minute - did you use a stamp for the paisley decoration???

Thanks mel ;) yes it is a paisley stamp, from a Papermania clare curd set, I think its called Doodles or something. I stamped in turqoise ink then embossed it to make the background :)

melissa - those offers look yummy - thanks for the hint? Sorry to be dormant but do you know yet what time they may be on TV? ( don't normally watch QVC.)

CT Flourgirl & Rusty - these cutting machines seem very technical but the things you are all making are divine. I want one!

Gemm - you beat me to it!!! Thanks for the info about the stamp - it looks really pretty.

I think the TSV will sell out so I might stay up to watch it so that I can get in there quick with my order if I decide I want one.

Yay, welcome back Rusty, we missed you :j!!! Love your baby card and card on your blog :D:D:D

TheWife, hope you're feeling much better now lady, take care xxx

Ali, postie came today, thank you :D

Mel, I have horrible memories about black face paint at a Wacky Warehouse party, it just didn't want to come off DS1's face, he looked a sort of grey colour for a couple of days even after me trying baby wipes, bath, my face wash, a flannel... nothing worked

Glittermum, I love your post-it note holder and matching pen x

    Beautiful makes on blogs :T :T :T

I can't get going today, DS2 decided he wanted to sleep in our bed last night and kicked me to death, at 4.30 I'd had enough and carted him back to his own bed where he stayed until 7 and woke up as bright as a button. I on the other hand am like a bear with a sore head :( Made vegetable soup in the slow cooker on Saturday and it was great and have a spag bol in there now for dinner tonight.

Hi everyone - sorry been AWOL again!!! Not been feeling well at all - sore throat & headachey over the weekend which coupled with my Fibro pain and flare up of Colitis makes Popkins a grumpy crafter!! (cos I haven't been able to do any!!) and I really need to get the wedding invites finished plus for some reason suddenly got a bit of an influx of orders for nappy cakes - 4 in total!! Yay!

Anyway I'm after a bit of advice please regarding the wedding invites - here is the picture that my friend sent me of some invites she liked and I just cannot seem to get my bows to look right at all - any tips on tying the bows please? She had said she didn't particularly want to have holes like the ones on the website - just tie the ribbon round but have it stuck on somehow (I had been relieved about the holes cos I was thinking it would be tricky & VERY time consuming to punch holes in 75 invites!) but now I'm not so sure - I've been using DST on the back and sticking the ribbon to that and trying to tie the bow round to the front but I'm obviously not doing it right cos it doesn't look great - any advice please? :(

will post a picture of my sorry attempt a bit later!! :o

Popkins try glue dots, I've just had a go with some sheer ribbon and card and its stuck well and almost invisible plus no mess with the DST

Hope you are feeling much better now xx

    Brilliant news about the orders!!

    Hello all :j
No card making today -but have sorted out Easter shoe box for son and his girlfriend..........and found a pale blue flannel upstairs -brand new, didn't know I'd got so that'll do for a flannel bunny for little grandson. OH is getting some goggle eyes for me and some blue felt so I can make hat for noddy egg cup -glad I've packed the big ears one now.........the more I looked at it the more it looked like a traffic cone.........lol:rotfl:

melissa - in the process of getting new phone -can't get signal on mine anymore for no apparent reason so who knows, you might see some piccys yet (if I can fathom out how its done) then you'll regret asking...........lol

sally - good for you losing yourself in some crafting. You've got a lot on your plate at the minute.

Rang our hospital this morning to ask when OH's CT scan is .............can you believe they've made the appointment after he sees consultant  How daft is that. They're now looking at changing OH's appt. with consultant so at least the 'boffin' has something to look at when he goes. Talk about daft carry on...........honest, I could organise it better myself (sometimes...........lol)

    Super cards all :T
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
