Smashing card li'l p purple is a favourite of mine. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Jazabelle - embossing folders like these are usually about £4 each; nesties can cost between £14 and £20 for a set (I've used this seller before, she's very reliable); I buy promarkers for about £1.50 each from a local shop, so have built my collection up slowly. Joanna Sheen offers free p&p with fast delivery, with single pens costing £1.69 I think she's one of the cheapest sellers on the internet.
li'l _p - lovely card; a FF stamp that I don't have (yet, lol).some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
jazabelle, there's loads of digital images out there that are already coloured for you
One off the top of my head is www.clipcropcrafts.co.uk and check out there site as there's loads of freebies to try to see if you like them and your printer can cope too.
I second JHB's (good to see you back!) nestie seller, I've bought from them before. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
I popped back on to tell you I've blogged but I've already been found out :rotfl: . Anyway, I put my crafty hat back on today and almost finished my DD's 40th birthday survival kit. I'm really pleased with it, OH made a great job of covering the box and I couldn't have done it without the suggestions I've had from the ladies on here, so thank you Rusty, CT, Thrify and Flourgirl :T.
Lovely post-it note holders Glittermum.
I love your purple card Li'l_p, your colouring is fantastic. I have some WC pencils but I really struggle.
Your cards are gorgeous CT.
Jazabelle, sorry you've been poorly, hope you're feeling better.0 -

Just updated the Crafty Place February Card Swap with the new names I had, it's looking good.
Any not signed up yet? It a 'hearts' challenge, any colour, any style as long as there's a heart in there somewhere. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Hi guys
Sorry, I've been away for a while, was having some life drama but I'm looking forward to crafting again now!
What happens in the card swap? Do we just send a completed card that fits the theme to someone? Sorry for being an idiot...The Crafty Place site doesn't seem to like me!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Thanks everyone!
Yeah, I actually find it easier to colour with the watercolour pencils, you just scribble blobs of colour where you want it to be 'darker' and then use the brush to dilute it around the area. This leaves you with darker shaded areas.
The FF stamps I bought all on offer from Glitter Pot and Mad About Cards as they were on sale, and only about £2 each, so I have got about 10 now.I think they still are on sale but don't blame me for tempting you!

DD bought me some from the Glitter Pot sale last week, but I think I'm still only on 7 ff stamps.I'm sooo tempted to go look on there for more, but I am being very good right now. Heaven knows how I'll manage to restrain myself at the NEC though, hopefully I'll have a full-time job by then.
