People do actually have relatives who are seriously ill or that can die, sometimes in tragic accidents and until it happens to you you will never ever know how it makes you feel.

Why not give someone who tells you this the benefit of the doubt rather then just think its an excuse, one day it might just be you in that position.

You could list somethign one day and lose a relative the next day, the first thing your going to think of is oh i must go on ebay! i dont think so some how.

im not saying some people dont try it on but some could well be telling the truth, if someone said that to me i wouldnt neg them not if it arrived within the next couple of days.

They were told that they were in Ibiza. I think they are trying on everything in the shop with this one.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

she also said that she was her friend and would give her a ring. She also gave me the sellers mobile number so I think her information was right

I think you need to start a new thread, esp as your query is completely unrelated to this thread

check who the OP is, its completely ontopic, its not the OP's fault if it was hijacked...

to the OP, when you start a paypal claim you say what has happened (item not as described) i think they then get a month to respond, if they dont respond and come to a mutual agreement (refund) then paypal will automatically do it.

if they are the devious type of seller they can then open a non paying bidder dispute against you after the refund, so be careful of that (put the paypal refund reference in the email if you get one).
