Have you tried praying for one?0

There a number of very readable translations of the Bible - which contrary to what the JWs will tell you are accurate translations! I would suggest an NIV (New International Version) or possibly a NKJ (New King James - which is the Old King James Version with all the thees and thous updated to you and yours). Many churches will give you a copy for free.0

I would ask a JW for one if I were you. They do try very hard to get to the original version and always seem to encourage people to look into their Bibles!Start every day by telling yourself how beautiful and intelligent you are0

You could always write one.
Bound to be just as useful as any other version.0 -

I lost my little Gideon's Bible which I'm gutted about as I really liked it. i got it years ago when I went to school.
Do they only deliver to establishments?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
My first thought was to steal one from a church, they're normally quiet and don't seem to 'up' on security.
Then realised they do have the best CCTV known to mankind, he who watches all, The Lord God Almighty.
Don't reckon you'd get a fine or a record, but think infinity in hell might be worth avoiding.I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -
Oh dear- my post seems to have disappeared. I trust it wasn't in response to some religious person from a certain organisation that proports to being Christian, ignoring the commandment of Jesus to love your enemies and to do good to those who persecute you.
