Hi Carrera - yes was going to say same as pastures new - lorweld posted one recently.0 -
The Bible link is for the New Testment only. If you have a Baptist Church in your area they might well be happy to give you one0

Ask Jehovah's witnesses next time they're round, they'll give you one free of charge, or write to them at: The Ridgeway, London, NW7 1RN. or go to www .watchtower.org0

Yup agreed. Ask a visiting Jehovah's Witness. The translation used is a good clear reading quality. Unlike the old King James Version with its ye's and ya's etc.
Your local Kingdom Hall phone number should be in the phone book too.** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -
Have people forgotten the Gideon's (they put Bibles in hotel rooms). I received a New Testament from them at school but they also now do a modern user friendly translation.

It's not free but a worthy purchase.

The only problem with some translations are the omissions and changes from the original meanings!
At least the New World Translation from Jehovah's Witnesses is true to the earliest scrolls available and therefore in my eyes THE one to have, and at no cost to the receiver....unless you want to make a voluntary donation that is.** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -
