Apparently anaphylactic shock with naproxen is quite common in asthmatics.I had been on it a good while as well.
the anaphylactic shock from Tramadol happened in the hospital operation recovery room...they gave me tramadol as I was in pain after op and straight away I Went into the shock ..they had to inject loads of stuff in me hence my reluctance to take medication now0 -

Hope your all ok, DD asked today about JJ, is he enjoying his school holidays, bless her were off to big play centre, and she said JJ would like that, can we ask him to come with us, I said its bit far for JJ and that to drive just to come there oh ok, while theres always next time, don't forget he's older now, he may have a girlfriend, oh men!!
I nearly wet myself laughing.
Quietish day today, mums friend come across, had a good natter, and think it did mum good as well, didn't do much else, apart from getting thrashed at Tennis on wii - madams got back into that now, only coz I turned the computer off..... if I hear that club penguin theme turn one more time!!
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Bless DD thinking of JJ...such a pity you're so far away as am sure he'd have enjoyed that. He's doing great he's 6 now!!!!!
Sounds like Mum had a good day ..always good to have a natter with mates.0 -
Think I had vent day 2day, in the nicest of ways, after the chaos yesterday when I took dd and her friend to the play centre, the staff were no where to be seen, the place was heaving , there was a big group of older kids fighting, - they'd pushed dd and her friend down the slide betweenhead first and sideways from what I can gather....... I had a work with a member of staff, I know kids are kids but, there still safety, he wasn't much help said he'd look, then bit later got dd and her friend in tears same group, fighting, and bullying the kids (not just my 2), annoying bit was dd spoke to the member of staff and he said so what ....... that was it went and spoke to a manager, - it was absolutely choca, he said its half term what do you expect - he did send a member of staff up there, (4 story structure), meant for 6 to 12 yr olds there was little toddlers wondering around there, the woman spoke to the kids that had caused probs and said you do it again your out.
then there was announcements from the reception, children please go down the slide the correct way - not being funny as thou kids really listen, then to top it there, theres me thinking this can't get any worse......... DD and her friend in tears, - her friend had got kicked and hit (from older kids) and DD had got hit in the eye by one of those rubber balls from a ball pit, - which shouldn't even been up there...... same batch of kids.
Got them out of there, asked to speak to the manager again, he was cooking, - basically most of the staff were either in kitchen or serving, there was hardly anyone walking around.
It was divided into 3 sections, one end was the 6/12yr olds, other 3 to 5yrs then a ball pit for 0-2. It was chaos wasn't the word.
Both kids said there areas were hurting..... thought there over exagerating a bit.
Took them to the local 2 4 1 pub (free kids meal voucher), nipped to Asda, then home they were quiet, just thought they were tired, set them up in dining room with a paint by numbers, dd friend said side still hurting, looked, she'd got bruises coming, then looked at dd eye, her eyelid coming out in massive bruise, eye sunken as it was all swollen around the eye. She got hysterical when I said we'd better get it checked out, didn't help dad was oh your making a fuss over nothing - my thoughts were, ok they don't anything but esp with the court case need to cover my rear....... she slept with me last night, most of the day her eyes been half closed and swollen.
Shes off to the friends house tomorrow to play..... at least know she's safe, it bad enough if anything happens to your own, but when your looking after someones elses makes you feel twice as bad, luckly her mum and were ok, they understood, told me not to worry.
So after sleeping on it, and going through it all, realised in 2 hrs they'd been hit etc 3 times, I'd spoke to 2 members of staff, a manager, they'd spoke to the staff, and only really once incident was dealt with. I had concerns about the amount of children there, - they were literally shoulder to shoulder, so after 5 phone calls, trying to find the right department, got through to environmental health, and expressed my concerns regarding staffing factors in ratio to children and the incidents, there looking into and getting back to. I don't want to cause trouble for anyone, but there was too many things that didn't add up.
On the money front paid another £115 off debts today, got £180 to go on Monday (add that in then), hoping it easies up in March, just been a nightmare of payments out - feels like a lake going out, but only a stream coming in!
Off to some friends on Sat for lunch, then off to an icecream farm, drooling over the flavours already......
May have some good news... found a link through my NUS card (get 5% discount), lowcost holidays, (need to do the checks - over panic but...) and I've put in flight from Manchester, hotel and return, from what I can gather (need to check), if its booked all in one you get the same procetion as if it was a package holiday.
Got to check the location of the hotels but I can get a direct flight, transfer on a shuttle bus to hotel and return, and 3 nights in hotel (just put in Sept in), and varies between £200 to £300 - really plzed so may be looking at it bit closer in the near future, it was originally wanted for bday off mum + dad...
Not a gd week next week, off to a furneral on Tues in Wolcerhampton, bit odd as I've never met the lady, but its the tutor I stay in touch with his mum, if we had a tutorial I would take a bunch of flowers and xmas sent a little toilettry set, he said mum had loved the gifts (she had dimentia), and he would like me to go. So got dad driving, he use to come to the tutorials with me, - I know I'll end up crying, I'm such a soppy sod, then by next weekend got my 1st essay for my new course, 2,500 words - scary for a 1st one - but if its trial and error, get there!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Sounds like they had a rough time at the play centre..hope they are both feeling better.
Where are you hoping to go on holiday?0 -
Really want to Prague, sounds daft set my heart on it, if I go won'y be till later in the yr, need to get this court case sorted out, but at least it gives a price idea.
Her friends all bruised on her hip, DD has a balck eye, it could only happen to me.
Had a nightmare today with Spare bank account, I ended up in tears of frustration, back in Dec they cashed a chq twice, but i'd only wrote one, the account is an emergency account, if the halifax ever chuck me out, trying the bank charges again, all set up ready, when Dec statements came there was £120 of charges and continuaing at £5 a day, I rang up and got it sorted, apparently admistrative error, but they'd stop the £120, and refund the account, and when Jan's statement came there would be charges showing, but they wouldn't be applied, so when Jan's statement came, saw the £120 had been credited back, and there was more charges to be applied, but as they had said it would show but don't just left it.
Bank statement came today, £400 of charges .... continueing at £5 per day, I will admit after about 30 mins into the call I was state, I was called a liar, they had no proof of the "Apparent" phone call, they traced one in Jan, but that mentioned nothing about the charges, and the whole it will go to court, they were trying to get me to set up an arrangement, I'd demanded a manager.
Luckly remembered that all the landline calls are itemised throu AOL get free calls for landlines, but o8 etc are chargeable, so after about an hr, I was able to find that I'd rang them on 31st Dec, and was 19 min call, they then said I'd left it late as the statement was nearly 14 days old by then, as I said to that that i rang when I got the statement, and that it was all that snow we had no post for nearly a week.
In the end I had mum up with I was shaking, really felt like I'd lost the plot... eventaully they we need to listen the call we're ring you back. gave them an he, threatened them financial obsnumen, the MP, the press, everyone and everybody I could think that, I was so frustarated, but I was calmish..
30 mins later, get a grovelling phone call, the problem is all there end, and they apologised apparently when I rang in Dec, the original call centre worker put me through wrongly to collections dept, and the bloke said they'd take off the £120, and stop the snowball of charges, apparently he had refunded the £120 to the account, but didn't put the follow on notes that any charges arising from that period should be stopped. As a courtesy of goodwill they offered me £20 for the telephone calls. I'd spent over 5 hours sorting it all out, going through all previous statements like a fine toothcomb, its damamaged my credit rating, its most proberly shattered, due to the financial obligations I have, but there my mistakes, I've asked for them to arrange an admendment to say it was their fault, - they don't know if they can do it... its past a joke, just waiting to see what happens.
DD went down to her friends today, its done her the world of good, she;s been out on her bike, they played on the wii.
I've rnag the solicitor dealing with the court case, not heard anything from the cafcass officer, don't know whether its protocol for me to chase them up, but his secetary, said that cafcass officers don't go fast, but if I haven't heard in 2 weeks ring back, but I have to be prepared that they might not get the report done in time, and this affect the court case and it will be adjourned. At the 1st hearing I gave my solicitor our unavailable dates, esp for our Dom Rep Hol, as it 2 weeks out of the schedlue, and the report has to be in the court whilst we're away.
Hoping for a better weekend, we're meeting some friends 2mor for lunch at Broxton (half way for both of us), then dd and me may do a little diversion to an icecream farm..... daren't plan anything Sunday... thou do need to get the one garage sorted!!
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Sounds like a lot of hassle with the Halifax but sounds like it's sorted now.
RE the court case..it's not your fault if the report isn't ready so they'll just adjourn it if it isn't done in time.0 -
It was the delightful Santander, the halifax have seemed to of not got my 1st 2 letters dispite the 2nd being sent recorded delievery, so no 3 will go special delievery - thou haven't the get up and go to take another fight yet, do all the updates of amounts in the week, then post it the following Mon. Could be fun and games.
Had a really good day out, the food was fab, I just couldn't decide, so had pork loin, in an apple and rocqefort sauce with bacon mash... I would give 100/10, dd had gammon, thou she was a bit shocked as it was fresh pineapple!!
Then the ice-cream farm, the most gorgeous icecream, contreau and orange, and mango and passion fruit, dd had coconut, then went for a coffee, and my friend and I both spotted this lush looking cake, - sponge with white chocolate and cranberry topping...... daren't guess the calories, but it was a treat.
DD done well, my wardrobe broke, shes got the same one, its too big for her room, 2 door one, shes got a l shaped room, so everything has to go in one place only, - looking at Argos, they had a 2 dr wardrobe, small size chester draws, 3 draws high, and bedside cabnet,
Reduced from £160 to £80, got some love to vouchers, so all I was left to pay was £28. so we both get the best deals, just be fun and games leaving dad to do diy.....
DD has suggested as she's having new furniture, she wants the walls repainting!! Join the queue!!
On the downside! got my DLA renewal forms through this morning, not looking forward to getting them done, but got to be done, worse now with my knee, since slipped on the loo floor, my knee just goes, - usually at the wrong time, just getting out of the shower, got my good leg out 1st, weight bear, then went to move bad leg and me knee gave way, ended up falling into the radiator, luckly it was off, shouted help and no-one heard, just so stupid, its like can't get a shower unless theres anyone in the house.
Quiet ngt in, think its tidy the garage 2mor..... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Um just a question, if you are having problems with Halifax, why are Santander involved?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
