Have I suddenly swopped her for a diva..... xx C
LOL It doesnt get better but they are still sweet most of the time!
These days its usually sleepovers at birthday time although went iceskating (well the kids did!) and shopping at the nearby city for DD2 for her 10th.:j0 -
Sleepovers - I'd need to move to a hotel for the night!!!
Good news - DD came home from school with a certificate and a book, the whole school has had a planet theme going on for reading for the school year, and she was the 1st in her class to reach Jupiter (end planet).
Bad news - I priced up 3ngts in Prague looking at May or Spetember - the cheapest quote came in at £525.... so that can go bye bye - don't know who was more shocked me or the travel agent!!
Fun bit - called at chippy on way home - they hadn't got my favourite southern fried chicken, (my monthly treat for going into town), so had chicken in bun, 10 mins after eating, .... the symptoms kicked in, was having a mild anaphylactic shock, - so after thinking do I jab or try and see if it goes - it was jab it... tried a dummy one - felt fine the motion, I was all fingers and thumbs, asked mum to jab me, she went white - thought just got to go for it, thumped it into my thigh, heard the click knew done it right, really wheezy by then, asked her to call an ambulance, - she was sat on the end of the bed - white as a ghost - just froze - course when I got through the bloke was having trouble trying to understand me, gave him the address - he then asked me to spell it.... theres 14 letters in our road name, - then the postcode - then passed him to mum as wanted the loo...
Bless them we had the fast response paramedic out, he was here within 3 mins, said i'd done the right thing, I always worry in case, but the epi-pen did the trick. So I think seseme seeds could now be a no go.
Thou I nearly passed out when I saw the needle it was about an in long - don't do needles, can't even !!!!! my own figure for blood test. I don't know why but I expected the needle to go back in.
This was the most weird thing the paramedic they sent, he was the spitting image of Simon Cowell.....xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
What a night, been up most of the night with dd shes got sickness and runs bug...... had in her with me, we managed 4 bed changes in the end, the poor washing machine... shes a bit brighter still been sick this morning, so rang school and said she won't in till Monday, shes been trying to fall asleep most of the day, but has got her mothers stuborn strek and won't give in.
Good news at the dentist, he's put a temporary crown on, got to go back in 2 weeks, but he found another tooth, snapped in half, so looks like that needs a crown, at least got it all done in one go as they say.
What an afternoon, remembered that got to pay for hol, and for the life of me could I find the booking forms, I searched everywhere, manged to get 2 carrier bags of stuff for shredding....... narrowed it down to the tour company as found the bank statement I had paid the depoist on, 6 phonecalls later, numerous panics as no-one could find us, finally got through, went to pay then relaised that Mon was a bank hol so didn't get to town to Tues - got to ring back 2mor, but at least that is sorted.
Another farce, since made the compaint about dd's dad when he got back in touch last Aug, and there was a threat to get to her and take her, which was reported to the police, gave a statement, and everything came out - since then been trying to chase up what has been happening, esp now as he gone via the court for access, - finally got some sense from the police, thou I had steam coming from my ears, apparently the statement I gave in Sept wasn't a proper statement, merely a risk assessment form for how safe we are/were..... now January, the dvu who were suppose to be dealing with it, were trying to blame the officer who took the statement, he was a response officer and took what we both thought was a statement, - they had looked at it, and it was waiting to be actioned, then I got passed through to child protection, - (how, why, where I'd lost the plot - made worse by the anisethic wearing off from gums), they think there is a case that DD is at risk, not from me, but from him, so they want to investage that - when I said there was a court hearing next week re access - the bloke said thats not notice for us...... doh - they've had the paperwork since Sept, - so another call back tonight, there sending a dvu officer out to come and see me Sat for a statement - apparently the domestic violence only has a shelf life of 6 months,- yet they could of taken action back when it was reported back in 02, but becuase the situation more complicated as different level of assault theres no time frame - asked mum and dad to take dd to Mcdonalds I don't want her in the house at all, - at last there doing something, they said the court will ask the police for his record and with their being reports from me previously and this incident then it will mean the court will end up being adjorned for further police reports. How long its going to drag on for no idea.
Got GP appointment Tues, as mum just told me today, she didn't want to worry me yesterday, but whilst I was having the attack the one side of my face went all droopy and I was slurring words, apparently the paramedic spoke to her about it, he had to nip to his car, but as my breathing, speech and face were coing back to normal and my sats were recovering, to see GP. hopeing its just stress coming out.
Off to do a coupe of hrs studying, then at weekend got to write an end of course assisgment - got to be in Mondays post - get thre by 13th...... no peace for the wicked. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Phew what a nightmare on all fronts. Hang in there M21 you know you are more than strong enough and also there is a holiday to look forward to.:j0
-
Hugs M21, hopefully the Police will be more on the ball this time AND the court will sit up and take notice!:eek::eek: to the face being droopy, my speech goes slurred but never had that with an anaphylactic attack!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

What fun and games, had dd off school Thurs + Fri with this sickness and runs bug, which I know they say share and share alike, - I ended up with it yesterday - so spent most of the day in bed - was out cold sleeping inbetween times, easied off last ngt - like a 12 hr intense bug, dad started off with it last night, he's brighter today, now mums got it. So its been fun.
The police - what a waste of time, cut a long story short, when I made the complaint in Sept about the ex, they filed it as information only - they didn't realise I wanted to make a complaint, the officer I spoke to Thurs - he gave me the wrong information - but because its taken so long and now the court hearing it would look bad on me, and there wasn't enough evidence. Basically it would all boil down to my hormones!!
Good news holiday paid for, just in the nick of time as I only got the cheque Tues, so rang and said I'd pay today, and they were ok. So thats sorted, rang the airline about the epi-pens and as long as GP does a letter stateing how many carrying - all be ok. So visit my nice GP, should get it for free!
Good news - as we upgraded to 1st class we can prebook out seats and choose where we want to be, the earliest we can do that is Tues, dd said I want a window seat, - thou shes more exicted about the personal TV. Think the hol come the right time, feels more real now its paid for.
Slowly getting my assisgnment done, - boring but get there, hopefully be done 2ngt.
The Dragon - Sorry to ask but have they given you a reason why your speech goes slurry. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Thank you, just weird thing when it happened, just with mum having a mini stroke last yr, I guess I think the worse.
We've got round 1 on Wed, the directions hearing, but as I'm digging my heels in, I've had my inital telephone interview with the cafcass officer for my side of things, I'm guessing he would of had his, the police checks would be done, mine clear, but his isn't, so guessing as we won't be able to come to an agreement then it be social services, and up to the judge to decide.
Just sods law, I've got 1 OU course just finishing this weekend, 1/3rd through another, then next starts Feb, and also got my resit to do.... Did I want a life!! be worth it in the end, as she says through gritted teeth...xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
The Doctors.
Bless him my GP is one in a million, - go in about my knee, still not right from when I fell, he's referred me to the physio at the surgery, but left in her hands that if she I need to be seen by anyone else, he'll just authoirse it without me having to come back.:)
That weird face and speech, - if it had happened by itself, he would of been more concerned, theres strokes on mums side, but as it was with the shock, its one of the syptoms,
Got ear-drops - think shouldn't really always have a pen or a q-tip in my ears....;)
Spending Spree
Had a spending spree in Boots - 50% off, couldn't be bothered to wait for the 75% and guess needed to take my mind off the court case. I spent £140, included £25 for a haridryer for dd, but the positive - had £40 for vouchers, nearly £65 on card, - so yes it was £35 but in the whole picture wisely invested.
Kept some bits for me, some for DD, put up for Easter, and then the for presents.
The Court
what a ngtmare - got there sorry lift out of order - ok - thought can get up a flight of stairs - needed the 4th floor, - 8 flights of stairs - luckly the ladies was on the same floor!!
The ex didn't turn up, apparently the baby arrived last week, and he didn't want to leave alone with the baby incase she needed his support! ok its his 2nd child, (but 1st time he's seen it through), but its baby no 7 for her!
So in the end my solicitor said its not worth you waiting around - (hr 1/2 later), - he was going to speak to the judge - cut a long story short, everything I went through - the phone call to the welfare officer, he hasn't even bothered. Yet he was the one to start court proceedings.
Its going to go one of two ways.
1st - nice and simple = he doesn't bother, he's caused enough upset and he leaves us alonr
or
2nd - The solicitor has asked the judge to make an order to him, basicaaly stand up and be counted and this is the way its going to go - both of us will have to give formal statements, have the homes checked, obviously I would be concerned about the GF ((not for the fact that she has 7 kids now) but for the fact that there is no way DD would with complete strangers) and as the allegations I have made are of a serious nature - they would need to look in them, then be gp, hospital records, they would interview DD and then reports from the school. If after all that the judge said yes, I could ask for an appeal or review - I couldn't take it all in properly, - then it would go from there. But as my solicitor said shes 8 and knows no different, so he would have a lot to prove.
If it goes through route 2, the next hearing would be around May time. Just got to try and keep things together, the best I can.
DD lost a baby tooth 2ngt, the damm thing had been hanging by a thread since Friday, and she just pulled it out 2ngt....!!
Nothing has been done financially at the mo, as most of the money goes in from next week, again just taking that day by day now. xx
So all I can do is try and get through each day, the court have agreed to keep all my personal details and that of Miss Hoodie's school etc away from him. I know theres going to be good days and bad days, but got brilliant family support, 1 absolutely fab GP, another who is good, and got so much support from my friends here, thank you.
So its back to the books 2mor, pop into school Friday as there on about an overnight trip to an activity centre, Miss Hoodie wants to go, so I said I'd see. At least no dentist this week.
Miss Hoodie, she has had this wobbly tooth since Friday, its been frying her head in, so she pulled it out tonight - braver than me - so the tooth fairy left her £2.00. That went down well.....
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Sounds as though your ex is just yanking every one's chains! Hopefully the judge will take one look and decide on option one (and make your ex pay for the privilege of having jerked everyone around.)
Ouch to DD pulling the tooth out but I guess it was ready :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
