What a couple of days it has been, my darling ex has crawled out of the woodwork again, this time it beats its - got a court order to apply for parental responsibility and contact, - got directions hearing in January. Absolutely knocked the stuffing out of me to say the least, but have got hold of the firm of solicitors that dealt with him and his family over the years, and they offered me the same solicitor as last time, he's a brilliant solicitor, but I just couldn't get on with him, luckly one of the other solicitors has offered to take the case for me, its a 30 mile round trip, but worth it. so have got 1st appointment on Monday with her, dads taking me, joked as its same place as where I had that food allergy incident, that I won't take him to asda for lunch as the last time he tried to kill me - standing joke about the shock incident, he thought it was best to drive home instead of getting me treatment then and there!!

Oh no! Hope this can be sorted out quickly (what does DD say? isn't she old enough to say if she WANTS contact or not with him?) ... um YES to avoiding ASDA!

But good news had a letter bringing forward the allery testing by 3 weeks - start the end of the month.

Ooh good! - that should be a help

Did an absolute classic today - the "monthly visit to town!", so hired my scooter, in poundland, the corner was really tight as they had put 1 displays of glow bracelets infront of the shelf, making it really narrow, got past as a push, tight squeeze, thought got no chance of reverseing there, so a 3 point turn - turned into a 8 point turn, then tried to go down this aisle only to find too late that they had now added a 2nd display right in front, so head 1st I went into it........ dad he disappered down the ailse........ while this staff member came up moaning, before I had chance to speak this older lady had a right go at him, threatening him with disability discrimination, that she was on walking stick and had trouble getting around, how could a poor defenless woman on a scooter have any chance......
So don't think I'll be welcome back in there!!
    xx

Actually they are breaking health and safety as well - so worry not! Aisles have to remain a certain width to allow for emergency exiting

Solicoters were a waste of time, - really thought they were working for his side........ the solicitor had to the cheek to ask had I got mental health problems due to the fact that I stayed with him for 8 months, ..... so heck knows what is going to happen.
got the woman ringing from the court welfare officier on friday to disuss my side of the arguement, so hopefully friday - get a wack of it out the way and try and have a normal christmas..........

Gd news my GP on my side, theres a lot of entries on the doctors notes between 2002.2003, felt like I had lived at the surgery.......

Wrapped another batch of presents 2ngt, just the kids ones to do, they just seem to take ages........ need a magic fairy to come and wrap them xx

Humph! I would be inclined to complain to the legal firm about that!

Oooh hope so! Actually they may be able to say no case to answer in which case it could be all sorted out!

I got into one of my stuborn moods earlier, so fired a 2 page letter to the solicitor stateing that U wasn't satisfied with the way that had handled the case since he took over - he's solictor number 5, the one saw Mon she's no 6!!

Main points I commented on when I saw him in July - he did a letter for me for dd's school - as the head was giving me a bit of hassle that I wouldn't give her dad's details - one I didn't know his address, and 2nd he had not got parental responsibility. That the file was not produced, but I put it put it down to the matter being related to school, but I felt that records should have been checked as he was putting his name to a legal document.

That when I went in Sept, when ex had contacted via friends reunited - he'd threatened to get to DD - again the file notes were not produced and he had no idea about the case, and that I was made to feel like I was parniod, when in fact what I said would happen has.

Whilst the meeting Mon was with another member of the firm, he had spoke to her Monday morning, and as they were aware on the Thursday (when I got the court documents), that enough time had elasped for the case files to be found as there procedures state that family law cases are kept for 10 years.

Then to rub salt into the wounds, I photocopied all the letters that I had recieved from the firm and my then ex-s solicitors - letters flying between both solicitors, from July 02 to April 03, when he did a disappearing act, and suggested that he read them, and that i presumed that there would have been file notes taken at the time, and these would explain why I've spent the last 8 yrs looking over my shoulder.....

Top it all - hand delievered it, and got the secetary to sign that they had recieved the documents.....

I did try to get in with another local firm, but no go, mainly as they had no-one free to represent me on the court date, and that I had been with the other firm since 02, they have the history, the legal aid certificates, and as its an on-going issue, that they couldn't take it.

Just hoping that the letter will put a rocket up his backside.

His parents - they caused some hassle 3 years ago, wasn't all their fault as ex didn't bother giving them any details till dd was 5 yrs, so I can see that wanted 5 yrs back, but it doesn't work that way, after not working the solicitors told them to go away, come back when DD was 18.

They got in contact Oct, traced me on Facebook, luckly my profile is locked, and its only the bare minimum on there anyhow. We have had a couple of e-mail contacts as they asked could we try again, but they would take it at my pace. So I had to tell them what he had done, they were fuming with him, apparently they don't see unless he wants money, like the money he got given along with suitcase full of new stuff for dd when she was a baby..... which we never got!! They've told me his new g/f is expecting as he said, and she already has 6 kids.... he's moved about 60 miles away, if he couldn't be bothered with his daughter when he lived 5 miles away, how the heck is he going to do 60 miles!!

His parents said they would support me any way they can, which is nice, but I don't want to put them in a position where they would have to choose him of their grandaughter.

The GP would literally bend over backwards, when I had probs with OU, at the time his parents were involved, he did a letter for my tutor, more to cover her back as I had 2 assisgnments with 3 weeks extensions, and the OU wanted to drop the course and do it again, but he stuck up for me, and the OU backed down, he's done my ins claims for the holidays, and as were still fighting July's cancellation, he's wrote to the insurers, and I haven't had to pay where our surgery a GP letter can be anything from £30+. I know I get full support there.

Trying to stay positive, as going from ex-s previous behaviour, he goes in lets the hornets nest go, then goes running in the opposiate direction when the damage is done, apparently he's done incidents like this most of his adult life, so hoping he will follow his pattern. But I will do everything I can to stop him.

We had DDs nativity play today, but 2 hrs - my rear and my legs and back were killing, any other yr they've had the infants on one day and the juniors on the next, this time they decided to have both on same afternoon.... the church was heaving, so lucky spotted 2 spare seats we were lucky, DD was part of the chior, everything she got up, she was wiping her nose on her sleeve, hands in pockets to sing, but she enjoyed it, so thats all that matters.

I did a classic, left the church, and went to get DD from school, this mum stopped and asked where we had got the cushions from in the back window, Disney Princesses, I said Disney Shop Chester, we'd paid £10 each, I said we've car booted some these go Easter time if the school has one, She said oh its just that my daughter is in nursery and we're doing her bedroom in Princesses, those would look fab, don't suppose you would fancy selling them now, so said you have both for £5. She was over the moon!!

That £5 became elastic 2ngt...... started off going for socks in Evans, (£2), some hair accessoires another shop £2 - a surprise xmas teddy for me £2, lip-balm set in Claires (£5), ....... opps dads got the money in his coat pocket - so each time I paid, then met dad outside Claires, dd spotted those elastic bands, - there in shapes, or words, ring size etc - apparently there the in thing - £2 a packet, gets the £5 off dad, then asks me to come to the till with her so she can have my student discount!!.....

I could of done a hunky man earlier to give me a back rub, the school in their wisdom, decided to hold the infants and juniors nativity play one after the other... 2 hrs we were sat solid.....

Then took DD late night shopping, so in M+S, saw some Hello Kitty, so that was beauty bag, nail set, and perfume on 3 4 2.

Went into Evans - see if there was anything for mum, went slightly wrong..... I came out with 2 pairs of socks for dd, they were xmas designs and reduced to £1 pr, she was very exicted.
Then spotted pack of 2 nighties reduced to £10 (£16), dd says I'll buy you them for xmas .... yes I paid..... and a dressing gown thats was £19 so don't mind needed a summer one.

Then as on way to changing room spotted this most beautiful dress - grecian style, with long length, with stones set at neckline, reduced from £50 to £15.... it fitted perfectly... so I had it.

So mum has now got mini baileys and chocs, set of tea bags (she drinks coffee) and box of chocolate honeycomb, - dads got whisky and choc, liquoirse all sorts, and everton mints, all 3 4 2 at Boots.

I was never so glad to get home, finished by 6pm in town, then dad saw a traffic warden and asked had there been an accident no traffic - no the roads closed coz theres a carol display - reopens at 7.30..... so we made him take us for coffee and mince pies!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
