Thought better go a quick update......
Been one of those weeks, seem to be going great guns, but nothing gets done......
It was dads bday yesterday, I got him a digital radio, dd (with me paying), brought him a pair of sports sandals, polo shirts and t-shirts. He got spolit, mum got him a bracelet.
Bailey is in the dog house, had a mad half hour earlier, could see DD outside, when she came home from school, but as she stopped to make a fuss of the dogs facing us, - he got jealous, started running round like a madman, somersaulting on the settee, then got his leg caught in my computer while, pulled his leg and bust the cable...... so the language was a bit blue, esp as I was in middle of writing OU assisgnment.
Started in yesterday, but had a brain block, in 9 hrs I'd only wrote 300 words, seemed to go a bit better 2day, got 2/3rd of it done, but submitted, and then asked for an extension. Flipping nightmare as the OU system isn't set up for word 2007, and bless her dd offered me her computer, but its a 2007 word.
Still under physio for my knee, thou its going backwards in terms of healing, so continue the exercise.......and the keep an eye for changes - risk of dvt.
DD was bit upset last day of school, she'll be in juniors when she goes back, but shes lucky as they have swopped the teachers around and they have the same one next yr.
Still on debt busting, just 1 card left to pay this month, but no extras, were off part of the summer hols, so minimum snowball payment, get there.
We had the list of presents for the school, the teacher, the TA who was retireing so that was 2 sets of presents, (1 for retiring, the other end of yr) + the 2 volunteers who read with them. So raided my new hobby - jelwelley making, so did them a book mark each, keyring, phone tag, and zip tag, apparentkly they went down ok.
Thinks thats me done for now..... sort out the card payment weekend and update sig, going in the right direction. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
LOL at Bailey..dogs eh...
Hope the physio works for you soon.0 -
:rotfl:Reading about Bailey really conjurs up some funny images. I bet he was a circus dog in a past life!
Well done on keeping up with the debt busting. It's one of those things that if you let it slip once it can easily slip again twice as quick.
Hope the knee feels better soon. I use colour therapy a few times when I have tummy ache, I visualise my tummy enveloped in the colour yellow and it really does help.
Have found this link for you, just scroll down to which colour fits your symptom, you could also buy a ribbon/scarf in the coloul needed and lightly tie it round. There are loads of sites on this if you google and want to find out more.

That's a shame mum2one. Have a go with the colour healing oh and also maybe a crystal/gem that is specific for knee pain. OH suffers a little from aching joints and wears a bracelet like this
http://www.thegemtree.com/crystal-jewellery-bracelets-assorted-bracelets-c-75_1_81/magnetic-hematite-bracelets-beads-and-flats-p-10907
and it does help. You can just buy the hematite gem on its own though. Maybe buy one, they're not dear at all, and relax with it resting on your knee?
Just another idea to try
**Meant to add as well, they are on ebay so if you search hematite bracelet they'll come up. Some really nice ones too and no price at all really, especially if they work!

The weather here is blimming horrible today, really drizzly and misty. I've forgotten what a bit of sun is like.
Hope you get the chance to try some colour healing on the leg, can't do it any harm.

Brilliant news - Just checked on the Open Uni website and I've passed my level 2 (B203) business course, so exicted, gives me Higher Dipolma of Business Studies, and Foundation degree in Business.
Be back home 2mor so back to sorting out Aug's debt payment, done well with the 2 weeks in Wales, dd got wack of clothes, hit Peacocks sale rack, and got her some more clothes, she's on growth spurts, and got 2 jackets to go back to school with, (got the next size up), and got undercharged for it..... the smalller size was £9, the next up £12, but was charged £9 each..... plus student discount 10%......
Weather been really mixed, and leg still playing up so been quiet!!
Had a lovely kick off at a local pub Wed ngt, went to a chain pub, (that has a hungary animal chain!!), we had adults meals, dd had kids, hers was stone cold, ours the steak and gammon was ok, the chips etc was stone cold, the peas were that cold don't even think they saw more than 30 secs of water!! The waiter didn't want to know anything about it, then came back and said mgr says do you want the chicken reheating and you can eat your food as he doesn't want to know about cold chips he's to busy...... NO ........I want fresh, came back and it had been reheated, coz the 1st piece of chicken she picked up got bite mark in it...... So told the waiter that I wanted the manager, eventually he came, tried saying the chicken would never be heated, then went gobsmacked when showed him the piece she's eat..... and told him about our meals, - he had to apologise, only after I threatened ringing head office, and Miss Hoodie piped up, I'm famous, I had my picture in all the papers and was on TV after mum complaining when we were in amusement arcade, I do photograph well, and my mummys on crutches there feel sorry her!! Could of throttled her at that point, but we got a full refund!!
better go and finish packing, catch up soon. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Well done on passing exams ...what's next0
