Thank-you, mines 6 as well, going on 18.
def trying the positive approach, or as my dd would say the complaining route.
had an absolutely fab time on helicopter flight, only up for 5 mins, but it was amazing, made me even more determined to get debt free, want to go to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, with helicopter flights on both.
I have champagne tastes on a lemonade budget.
Have added another £12.50 to Grand Canyon fund, went to Newton Abbot racecourse...... dd is on to a good thing, she has £2 per race, but dad and I put the money up for her!!
That was an experience in itself, we took Bailey with us, we asked where the disabled parking was (got blue badge), the stewart told me I wasn't disabled enough as we had the dog with us....... dad was driving. Then they said they dont allow dogs, despite dogs walking around.
So me being me..........rang the racecourse office, and got told put any compliants in writng...... so I asked would print in the newspaper do, for being told not disabled enough.....
What a surprise, the manageing director was available, he came down and apologised, offered to get the car moved for me..... but by then the disabled spaces were full. The excuse he came b re the dog, they dont allow dogs for health + safety..... but if I would be prepared to drop any newspaper action, he would let the dog into the comfy area. So made him squirm and said yes!!
Dad + I put £20 each into the betting pot, and we £37.50 back, but split 3 ways, £12.50 back.
Just crashed out with a pint, while dd runs riot on the dance floor. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mums a lot better, thou she has the most wonderful black eyes, off Tues to get her stitches out.

Everything sounds fine down there.
Wasn't very nice of the steward was it?..at least it got sorted in the end.0 -
Good day 2day,picked up few bargains from the local market, just nic nacks 4 xmas.
Brought a 09/10 student diary reduced to 87p in Tesco, do 2 jobs in one, allow me to keep an eye on the workload with open uni, running about a wk behind, and can keep a better eye on my finances, as my Income Support gets changed this month to a friday and 2weekly. The DHSS did offer me a loan to cover the missing week, but been good and said no, will budget myself.
Aim September to be the month to get back on track, still been paying debts, but the minimum, as loan repayments start this month, and have my credit card bills to work out what I owe.
Get there, wouldn't say it was a fall off the debt free wanabee wagon, merely July, Aug + Sept, are expensive months. On the positive all birthday presents inc dd are brought to end of yr, xmas prezzies are sorted, just got the remainder of mum, dad, dds left to get. So far they have all got tickets to see Joseph and his coat -for next May.
Got £100 Amazon vouchers, so that should go to dds prezzie
Got £45 on Boots card, should be £55 by xmas, that goes on family, so overall getting there.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
You've done well with all the prezzies. You'll soon be back on track with everything I think the summer holidays throw a lot of people out.0
