I'm just imagining your mum ..hidden under all the wrapping paper and pressies..lol
Glad you've found out whats wrong with DD and it's something easily treated.
Incase anyone reading this wonders about the shower cap story....
Mum2one..sent my little grandson a parcel and amongst other things it contained a bob the builder shower cap...which he insisted on wearing on his walk back home in the rain to his mums...he said if he can use it in a shower to keep his hair dry then he can wear it in the rain!!!!...bless him...he is only 4 but is hilarious as mum2one will testify..lol0 -

He is absolutely gorgeous, a real charmer, and he's lovely, by the time he 18.....he'll have the girls queued round the block + back, or in taxi's case, up + down the piers and the tower!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Have finally finished the main bulk of wrapping, that was done last ngt, this morning did the little food hampers,
Escaped to the pub for lunch with dd and my friend, do the xmas swop, now decided I do not want a Vauxhall Corsa, the boots tiny, not that I plan to change the car.... I need a big boot!!
Left mum wrapping dds and mine stuff, dads wrapping his trainers, sandals, box of beers leaving them put and stick a bow on the box!
I do not want to see wrapping paper again!!!
Shouldn't laugh, we had presents of a friend of dads, his wife said I think I've got the labels mixed up, so we opened them.... mine was a toilettry set, with a best before date August 2007!!
Mums best before date July 06.....didn't look at dds, went via the bin.
DD now come down with a stinking cold, so shes in my bed 2ngt.......I hang on the end of the mattress...
Exicted off to the Panto 2mor, its Peter Pan, - its the bloke who played Mathew King in Emmerdale... like the rough and ready look!!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Glad you've got most of it done.Hope you enjoy the panto.0

What a day......
I had to sleep in jumper + trackie bottoms, just couldn't get dd to move over, double bed and she was in the middle....coz she'd been poorly, was self concious of keeping an eye on her, she started talking in her sleep, then turned over me + kicked me....so funny, she took all the quilt.
The panto saga......
We had a fab time at the panto, thou couldn't see dds ballet teacher ( think it was a ploy so she could go twice!)
It was brilliant, got the bloke who played Matthew King in Emmerdale, so funny one sketch there pratting around with mops, and his hook came off, he then put it on the wrong hand!!
Dad picked us up, ok, half way from home, I was looking in the shop windows xmas displays.....next thing... emergency stop, some idiot had came out of a turning without looking and nearly went into the side of the car, course based on previous history (4 car accidents, which 2 were right offs, serious bus accident) not the best passenger, and I automatically put my rht hand onto the dash board to hold on........ the driver stopped, luckly as dad had done the emergency and nearly mounted the pavement, we got out of the car to check, no impact on either....... but an a+e visit for me.
Good news, not broke anything -
Bad news - I've strained my wrist, shoulder, collar bone and neck, now have to have my arm in a sling for 2 weeks.....
very partical....... off on the Orient Express at 1pm.... it was going to be green dress, with a black leaf print (£120 reduced to £18 last xmas), Green jacket (what wore last yr with skirt + top), but it hurts to put my shoulder through anything, so plan B, long length peach dress with flower print, (had it made in Gambia back in 2005), got to find black lace cardi, as the tattoos don't quite go with the Orinet Express....
Best bit!! the woman who it was, is involved with dds school, so couldn't say much......xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Ouch!! I hope the arm recovers quickly! How was the Orient Express?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

The Orient was amazing, couldn't find my black cardi so it was black trs and a pale blue sequin kaftan top, very fetching with the sling, thou after an hr flung it off.
It was amazing
Had champagne and canapies on arrival
bottle wine
fish course - smoked salmon and think was smoked cod (passed on that - my aunt had that, I had the vegetarian option, cross between boiled leek and spring onion,- my aunt had the leek
soup- lush - pumpkin and orange with creme freshe - tasted a bit like mild korma
mains - roast goose, glazed carrots, purred brussel sprouts, foundant potato, port jus - (bar the sprouts it was lovely)
then cheese course - 5 sets of cheese, + biscuits
pud - xmas pud with rum sauce (aunt had), blueberry charlotte (lush)
coffee and mince pie
we had another bottle wine £22 cheapest wine, but it was worth it, makes xmas seem so real,
They had a magician, 2 people playing trumpet and gutiar all dressed up in dinner suits, you literally expected to see Hercule Piriot walk down the gangway.
I would highly recommend the trip to everyone, I want to go next yr....! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
