It's just an email account with Google bit like Yahoo and alike, this google account gives you something like 2gig worth of space in your inbox so can be handy for storing of large files if you wish but be aware the do spy on your emails so they can sell you stuff, but i'm sure someone with more info on this can explain it to you, you have to be invited to get an account so if you do want one PM me or anyone else with spare invites and just give us your email addy and we will send one of to you.
