I don't know about veg bags but I bought one of those potato keeper bags from Betterware and it's been a godsend, no more green spuds here.

There was a thread about these just the other day.The general opinion seemed to be that they weren't as good as the Lakeland ones.I use Lakeland's and find them very good, but they've withdrawn them from sale due to quality problems.I don't know if they're coming back.

I'm a fan of the Lakeland ones as well. I wash and reuse them.
  • I've got the Qvc ones and they are quite good. My green bananas didn't ripen despite being in the bowl (in the bag) with all the other bananas. I think that the Lakeland ones worked out a bit cheaper though.

bought something from lakeland yesterday and they gave me a new catalogue. was browsing through it and there are some plasticky type bags which you store veg etc in the fridge and the product is supposed to make them stay fresh longer. has anyone tried these and if so what do you think?

    Hi mrs baggins,

We have an older thread with lots of opinions on food saver bags that should help so I've merged your thread with it as it helps to keep all the replies together.
