    I live in a second-hand flat.

like it! im sure there has been many a person live in my house use my bath toilet etc.
i wish id been better disaplined with myself furniture wise nearly 5 years agao when we got married we were offered so much in the way of bits for my house (for some reason army wifes tend to want to have the best of everything and some will replace perfectly good items for no real reason at all) the things i was offered i turned down much to dh's disgust when i look back we would have saved a fortune on the stuff we were offered and the worst thing of all is things like my sofa which is only 4 years old is recked.

i have learnt from this now, the cot ds2 sleeps in was free i just bought a new matress ive been given so many bits and bobs for both of them stuff for the new baby when he comes is all second hand (as i sold all stuff from ds2 as i wanted no more) i got a nearly new crib from my local naafi board for just 15.00 pounds the same one would cost over 100.00 to buy im no longer ashamed or bothered about second hand if its clean and will be used by me i will have it
