Guys I've just had to release a few bits on RE
Grrrrrrrr
Not enought to warrant the Alert Thread0 -
Yeah, have done.
I could kick myself for not expressing this last night, because I'd have got the error, noticed, and been able to reschedule it. !!!!!!!!
What's betting that GAP don't reply until after 7/8pm, which is their absoloute deadline?! GRR! I'm sooo annoyed with myself!Probably Aussie time. Their system doesn't allow you to book or reschedule anything for the same day after that time.

I waited 45 minutes, gave up cos it was becoming obvious. The best bit the one staff member who should have been able to help promptly told me her lunch started in two minutes at which point she would no longer help.....she wasnt replaced during her break......... they lost at least three customers because no one could answer queries......I have emailed TNS and asked what to do about the questionnaire. Hope I did the right thing!
Sorry to bump! No response from TNS who will undoubtedly be finished for the weekend, I will have to complete the report even though its possible I wont get paid because I couldnt properly complete the second dept. Any advice?:oBerry Delight0 -
Don't beat yourself up:D If it makes you feel any better you wouldn't have been able to reschedule it last night. That's because the GAP system changes to the next day at 3pm for some reason

Aye, you're right.

I've not done a job for TNS yet, but my instinct tells me that it's the shops fault that they had no staff available and that poorly affects customer service - which is what you're there to assess. Write up the report, let the store know that if they had more staff available they may perform better.TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

I did one of those and after waiting a while (not as long as 45 minutes though) I went to a nearby department to ask if there was anyone working where I needed assistance.
After the time you spent on it I think you should still expect to be paid. The instructions aren't clear on what you should do if there isn't a member of staff in that department.0 -
I've never seen any mobile shops on GFK all I get are banks.
Just won a small victory with TNS. Since they've sacked all their area managers their system for dealing with anything has been really bad (well for me anyway). I was given a job to do which I did but when I went to enter the results the link no longer worked. I emailed them about it as I could not find a number and it took them three days to reply. In the meantime they cancelled the assignment saying that I had not filled in the results. I obviously emailed back. Still no answer. I then went on holiday and when I got back I had a really snotty email about being more reliable and that I should not accept assignments unless I was prepared to complete them. I have to admit that I did sent back a rather curt email to them saying it was their fault that they had messed up the link and had not replied within the time frame and that whilst we had the area managers this would have been resolved the same day not two weeks later! I also sent copies of all the emails I had sent them and the ones they had sent me. Today I got a call and was given an apology for the email and the fact that the customer service team did not reply in time and I would be paid for the job. I also got an email with an official apology. All this for a few pounds!'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
