The bluewater job is still there. My search area is 20 miles from Bexleyheath, Orpington, Croydon and south east London.
So annoying. I have Bexleyheath & Orpington listed too, as well as Dartford, my own home postcode, and Bluewater's postcode, but can't see it!

Not done the shop there for about a year!

I'm sure the website is playing up! When I log in, I see several jobs are available but then they suddenly disappear. Unless I'm very quick and manage to click on one! I know for a fact the jobs are available as even the Pharmacy jobs seem to disappear!! Have to keep refreshing the page.

Can I complain to RE about spam?

That four emails today now about those flipping Pharmacy jobs, if I wanted one, was able to do one and could be bothered with the ridiculous scenarios I would have taken one, same as every other shopper registered with them!

Offer me a vastly increased fee and/or more reasonable scenario and I'd do one, not rocket science is it?

  • Is it like a receipt that you need it to be a jpeg image? Can you print it off and scan it/take a photo of it? Not sure if you can simply upload it as a pdf. It's not something I've had to do yet, so just guessing.

A bit off topic but I was wondering if anybody has an opinion on if MS Office packages can be counted towards taxable allowances:confused:? I was thinking about getting the software4Students reduced price MS Office package as recommended on the freebies board.
I got a really good deal on a new laptop (only for use for MS of course so that’s a few hundred off my taxable total…..:D). Since it doesn’t have Office on it and that are a few MS companies that need to have returns given in Excel I was thinking about getting it for the £35.00 and putting this down for expenses as well.
I still have my old laptop for Uni stuff so my question (eventually!) is if anybody else has put through this kind of expense on their tax return? I didn’t ever claim anything for my old lap top in the last 2 tax returns I sent in so the “business” (i.e. me…:D) should be able to provide one for me….. right? Any thoughts?

Have PM'ed you with a suggestion.

    Its really quiet again tonight

    Anybody picked anything up?
  • Laptop and normally software would be a capital expense, so you'd have to claim capital allowances (normally 25% per year, on the reducing balance), apportioned for how much is for work use and how much for personal use. My MS use of my laptop is pretty incidental to my other use, so I'm not planning to claim for it, but will claim for printing and mileage against sales.

Only one petrol this afternoon. A couple of pubs have popped up but not interested in those.
