What do you have to do to get accepted by ESA for a job? I've applied for about 8 over the last month or so and been turned down every time

Its not just you Mumof2, the only ones I ever get from them are the ones that they need doing urgently. I got a call about 1 yesterday and agreed to do it when they doubled the fee, but the other 6 I applied for have all gone out of my applications box so I didn't get any of them :(.

Mind you, when I asked the person I spoke to yesterday if they knew when they would be allocated, they said quite soon they hoped as they were hoping to get some of the jobs themself!!!. Apparently the ESA staff apply for the jobs as well as us MS'ers, so not much hope really is there .
I'm the same with ESA, never had a job. Am getting sick of filling in stuff in the box that I think will make a difference so last time I put something like "I would love a chance to do my first job with you!!" and I still didn't get it!!! LOL!!! :D

I've done one job with them, at the beginning of the month.

What annoys me about their system, is you apply for jobs, don't hear anything back, then you get an email saying "Jobs Available!" ... and it's the jobs you've applied for, which you've obviously been rejected for because they're no longer in your "My applications" box!

    Yes that is VERY annoying!!

What did you type in the box?

Well, there were 2 shops, "P" and "W", both of which had jobs in areas quite a way from me, and I put that I'd love to do more work for them, and if they could offer me both jobs I'd be happy to travel. The more local ones I just said I'd like to do more work for them and could do job on such-and-such a date.

Oh dear, hope you feel better soon - there's some nasty stuff going around at the moment. My husband has had the flu (not swine!), my son has had a stinking cold and there's a horrible sickness bug going around my daughter's school - so much so 3 kids were sick in school yesterday

  • Uh OH! Got a dreaded call from Gyp begging me to do a burger job this weekend - really not convenient, but in the end I agreed and he had added 2 petrol jobs to my account for "being so helpful". Not really wanting to eat burgers as trying to diet, so one bite and in the bin it goes!! Sorry TG, don't know why they rang me

I did get a call about 2 hours ago, came up "Witheld" so could have been them , and there was silence at the end .. I said "Hello ... Hello ... Hello ..." then got a bit annoyed and said "Oh f*** off and leave me alone" .... maybe they won't be phoning me again!!

Enjoy your burger ... my posh sarnie and coffee at Bluewater this morning was lovely!
