What do you have to do to get accepted by ESA for a job? I've applied for about 8 over the last month or so and been turned down every time
Its not just you Mumof2, the only ones I ever get from them are the ones that they need doing urgently. I got a call about 1 yesterday and agreed to do it when they doubled the fee, but the other 6 I applied for have all gone out of my applications box so I didn't get any of them.
Mind you, when I asked the person I spoke to yesterday if they knew when they would be allocated, they said quite soon they hoped as they were hoping to get some of the jobs themself!!!. Apparently the ESA staff apply for the jobs as well as us MS'ers, so not much hope really is there .0 -
Oh right, like you said not much hope for us! Good job I'm not just relying on them for work.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

I never get them either Mumof2! But after what squidgeum said about staff taking the jobs, it makes lots more sense! lol
I'm loving GR at the moment, there was a point where they would only offer me the same branch of phone shop every week, but since I bit the bullet and accepted one, i've had various jobs flooding in from them!:j
Also got my first job with the company that doesn't like to be talked about at the weekend, a bit nervous!0 -
I really like GR too and have gone for each job they've offered but the jobs are really thin on the ground down here in Bristol. Glad you're doing well though!
I don't know who the company is who doesn't like to be mentioned, but I am sure you'll do just fine.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hello. Would someone be kind enough to please PM me with the link to the toy/children's shop on Abai?
Thanks!0 -

It goes like that with MSing though doesn't it. Last month for me was awful, only had one or two jobs, but this month i've had a steady number of jobs every week.0 -
Could you tell them you know someone in Bristol who is happy to carry out jobs for them
!
Mind you, got 1 on Sunday and 3 on Tuesday so got a bit to do.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Yes, i don't know how ESA work regarding the applications. Only had one job and that's because it was slightly out of the way for me.0

I'm the same with ESA, never had a job. Am getting sick of filling in stuff in the box that I think will make a difference so last time I put something like "I would love a chance to do my first job with you!!" and I still didn't get it!!! LOL!!!0

The Good: Just scored a pub visit from MCE for this lunchtime. Decent pub, 10 mins walk.
The Bad: Just spent 10mins trying to figure out the 'specified drink' only to find out it's rose wine. This is a real man's real ale pub. I'm female. If I wear a 'I'm a Mystery Shopper' T shirt, will it make it any less obvious?
Maybe I can drum up my mother to come with me.0
