yes we are "trained" to do certain things, yes very much like a simple animal in a circus, we dont perform we are history... i dont see what pleasure people get by "spying" on workers trying to get them sacked, if you get bad service report it, if you need to go sneaking in and out of shops trying to catch people out......... welllllllllllll mmmmmmmmmm, just leave us to do our jobs to the best of our ability, no one sets out to give bad customer service, but at the end of the day unless your in the high end market like harrods.... does it really matter,

trust me if we fail mystery shopping management dont look at it as more training, they look at it as a easy way to save money by not giving us our bonus, or putting us on a "report" so we get re assessed in a shorter period of time, or possibly they just say " you dont make the requirements of the company" Goodbye, this has happened to two people....

Loopy Lass, I understand what you mean but as the other posters said, those are exactly the kind of questions we have to answer. I believe a majority of MShoppers are not mad with power and able to be objective and dare I say, sympathetic.

For example, if I can see that the restaurant was very busy, it is dinner rush hour, the staff look rushed on their feet and may be flagging, I would put that in my report that the staff was trying their hardest to clear the queues, that I was served efficiently but not warmly. There was once I also wrote that perhaps management should allocate more staff on the shopfloor!

If the management chose to just pick up some phrases of my report to 'justify' paycuts, I would say it is a serious failing on their part.

3 days without any new jobs being released seems like a long old time right about now. Can't decide if I just live a very boring life, or if i'm slightly addicted to the rush of seeing new jobs pop up. Probably both! :embarasse

I think it's an addiction I'm constantly checking the Alerts thread, the different MS sites to see if any new jobs have been added. Sometimes, ok most of the time it seems to take preference over doing my regular job.

So with u on that.... Ive had one job picked up in 7 days:eek: had loads in August booked but only a few in Sept so far! Thats the way the cookie crumbles eh.x

Do you think anyone has been working today as its a bank holiday,I have had nothing on re for about 2 weeks now,but I live in scotland so maybe a shortage of work up here.
