How dare you make assumptions about my personal financial situation and then have the audacity to post about it on a public forum in an attempt to make me look bad! You don't know anything about me so in future I expect you to keep your unfounded assumptions to yourself.
A very futile attempt Lil, treat it with the contempt it deserves, you are a Star to us all x x x x
I'm wondering why a round pizza comes in a square box -

Thanks Anna. This will be the last I post on that matter anyway.

I've got a nice quiet weekend ahead, an afternoon of bingo tomorrow followed by the X factor. Plus it's the Belgian grand prix on Sunday!

  • Just like to add that I have tried, quite successfully, to tie in a RE pub job for a meal or drink with 2 drink assignments from TNS ( who pay very well) on several occassions, which has resulted in a great night out for me and my OH, which we would not have otherwise been able to do, it all helps:beer:

Has anyone noticed that Tern occasionally put an age limit on visits to Bravissimo?
I am really annoyed about ageism with MS. Anyone else feel the same?

I'd do these if I had bigger b**bs lol

Your inexperience (and others on this thread) in Mystery shopping is exactly what RE is looking for.

What you fail to realise is that RE undercuts other good Ms Companies to get the business.
Other companies used to have quite a lot of the RE jobs and they paid a decent fee, mileage and did not ask 100's of inane Q's

RE then pay (if your lucky) well under minimum wage for the work and the ask an inordinate number of repetetive questions.

The other MS Companies then go to the wall and eventually there will be be only RE who will (I'm sure) ask you to pay to Mystery shop

Everyone suffers because others can't see the big picture.

If you are that desparate for money then go and sell the Big issue on the street corner-bettr pay and you get to meet lots of people.:D

I have to agree as when I started mystery shopping (pre dinosaurs), the fees were often triple what they are now and the companies did not require 140+ answers to inane questions. Everything was allocated by an allocator and there was none of this increasing trend to lower fees each year. Companies like RE and Gap are the very reason fees have dropped so much over the years, simply because they know someone out there will sell their soul and health all for the sake of a meal and a fee that is an insult.

As mystery shoppers, if we continue to accept these pathetic fees, then it will come to a point where you will be expected to do the jobs for no fees.

On the plus side there are good companies out there that reward loyalty and pay well and thank goodness they do the type of jobs Gap and RE will never be able to do.

It isn't ageism it is basically the client wanting to get feedback from a certain age group. I know people have ranted to ms companies about it and I know we see all types of people in all types of shop, but let's face it, the average age of a phone shop customer is under 40 and the average age of the people that go to the horrid sandwich shop is 18-35, so the client requires people of this age to ms them.
