Tell you what, I'm learning a lot here by reading your experiences and I now know a lot more about mystery shopping than I did!!!

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get changed from probationary to active? I'm waiting to get my first job cleared so I can get on with another (there's 2 shops I can do easy) but of course I have to sit ... and wait ... and wait!

Oh well, off to see G-Force in 3D with my daughter and husband this afternoon so that should be good!

I've just done a MS which really really feels like its 2 hours of my life I'll never get back!!!

I think I need to start being more picky with the visits I do rather than being a MS wh^re!!!!

RE - it can vary proofreading can take from a few hours to a few weeks , once they are happy with your report you will be taken off of probation. Have a good time at the cinema!

With the TNS "begging email" they've just sent out for the pubs and bars, has anyone got any experience of negotiating an extra fee (it says in the email they will consider this).

I have only ever managed to get extra travel costs from them for this type of thing, that was even back when they were paying for travel...:D

I got a lot more travel and an extra fee, you're doing them a favour!

Thing is, recently I have been sent quite a few emails saying that they will pay extra due to the jobs being urgent and I notice now that jobs just sit there not being taken on a few sites.

Surely they are shooting themselves in the foot?

I certainly have become more picky and won't be doing any of the pub jobs now that only one meal is reimbursed :mad:

If peeps aren't taking the jobs then surely things will have to take a turn around?

Me too! Wasn't too keen on doing them in the first place, but definitley won't bother now. That measly fee is just not worth the hassle.
