oooohhhh....I've just applied and they have asked me to do a test shop, might better just leave it then.0 -
Be careful of phone jobs on RE. I nearly accepted one and then realised that it's actually a phone call followed by a visit (even though it only has the phone symbol).......and the store is 120 miles from me :eek:0

It took me ages to complete the report though, about an hour... maybe I've written too much? How long to people take to complete reports to the entertainment store for RE?:jBaby girl born 3rd October 2012:j0 -
Is it normal on Hotel jobs to not get a reimbursement for an evening meal? I have accepted one which reimburses the room, and a breakfast the next morning, but no evening meal or drinks so it hardly seems worth it really.
Any advice appreciated.
Sorry to quote myself, but I have just checked with RE and there definitely is not a reimbursement for evening meals or drinks for these Hotel visits, so be careful if you're thinking of accepting one. The one I accepted would have cost me more in meals drinks, travel and parking than the room costs .
The chain is the same chain as most of the pubs RE have beginning with the letter 'W'.0 -

Some of them you're allowed, some you're not. I would just call up the relevant company and ask. RE for example are very helpful in regards to this - I had one assignment that said you had to go my yourself. When I called she said it was no problem to take someone with you. Don't call GAP though, whatever you do!TractorGirl327 wrote: »
I have 120 shops (but about 200 if I select pharmacies as well!) - half of them are pubs and the other half are posh sandwiches. When the nightclubs come around, I usually see loads because I'm in central London, but I have none at the moment.
But I never see any hotels.Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -

The only way it would be worth it is if you could get a meal and drinks assignment at the same pub for that evening;)0 -

So how did they justify this lack of allowance?0 -
So how did they justify this lack of allowance?
.
She did release it without deducting points though, so I suppose that's one good thing .0 -
I've done a few of these ones before and they've always had an allowance for evening meal and drinks included. It looks as if they're cutting back on these as well as slashing the fee on the pub ones:mad:

I thought there was normally an allowance. That's why I asked the question on here. At the end of the day that was what made it worthwhile. To add insult to injury they quote a reimbursement of up to a 3 figure sum (3 century's!!) and all the rooms are only a 1/6 of that figure. So where does that come from??
The extra assignment for the same pub (or even another close by) would be great, except this is one of the W pubs that isn't on the list :mad:0
