Is it normal on Hotel jobs to not get a reimbursement for an evening meal? I have accepted one which reimburses the room, and a breakfast the next morning, but no evening meal or drinks so it hardly seems worth it really.
Any advice appreciated.0 -

I emailed back asking for details and the job vanished from my pending payments page but they have never replied. I have sent 6 emails, which the person on the phone said they have not received. I know this is incorrect as in one of the emails I also asked them to change the date of another assignment for me, which they did, but in their reply just ignored the point about the missing job.
If they had emailed and said I did something wrong, then fine. I would accept not getting paid. But it is the fact they think it's ok to ignore me constantly, yet they dock points if a report is late.
Andy that is utterly not on. The problem with emailing them is they can just ignore it. I would phone them and speak personally to them....harder to dodge your query and they would be forced to explain themselves.

No it is not normal.
Usually you at least have to have an evening meal and in some cases go to the bar.
I've done some where the hotel doesn't have a restaurant and have been allowed to go to the nearest dining option with an allowance for dinner.
Sounds a bit of a rip off-Is it RE?0 -
The same thing happened to me last week and they are apparently looking into it. I had a query ticket come up as soon as it was submitted and no one contacted me. All of a sudden it disappeared from my pending payments and know one knows anything about it.
I was hoping to get some advice on this also. Submitted my third RE repot yesterday and the second I pressed submit an assignment query appeared...what is that and any ideas how to get rid of it??
Thanks!:DBerry Delight0 -

Ha ha, don't worry, I'm not that down - but with even more reduced fees, no mileage on jobs, tight job dates, and companies saying they've lost your report and not getting back to you... it's a little disheartening!TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

i am fed up with storecheckers! they are just too picky. they want to know exact costs of what i bought and not just what i bought and the total spent. they want to know at what time i was offered a loyalty card and at the names of all staff members and not just the one who served me. they are a pain..... anyone else does not like them??0

I have noticed that if I submit it after 10pm it automatically does that. What time did you submit yours?
