GnB .. sadly it is against ebay rules to put livestock on.. or else I would! How is your little doing? not too sore or painful I hope?

Ebay is no fun anymore:rolleyes: Gumtree?:p

My LO is ok, still very tender. She had her dressing off today and she screamed while it was being taken off, then sobbed her little heart out:( Chocolate buttons and strawberry milk helped though apparently:cool: She is a little trooper bless her.

Johanne you are right, it is a scam. He's asked us to wire the deposit and first months rent to someone we trust and to send him the receipt as proof that we have the money, which is exactly what the article said would happen. I was expecting to be a con but am a bit disappointed it turned out to be one. Ah well, such is life.

DH says we should report him to watchdog - any other ideas of who to report him to? Got any suggestions anyone?

Sorry to hear that Rose, but well done to Johanne on spotting it and letting you know!
Greenbee some of your bottles have turned up :rotfl:

Thanks Dusty.... I'll nip over and have a look in a bit!

Dolly - I hope your OH apologizes. As for his mess, I suggest that you get a couple of boxes/crates, and when you're tidying put all his stuff into them for him to deal with. That way you can't be accused of losing his stuff, but he can't complain that you are leaving it lying around either.

Triker - I'm glad they've identified the problem. I hope they come up with a solution too. I've PM'd you (too lazy to email...!)

kaz - have a lovely time at the Dabbling Duck. I'm quite fond of it myself...

Pigpen - hope your children are being very quiet and well behaved now!

My car now has a working passenger window, a non-wobbly rear-view mirror and recharged air-con. I have a large bill .

I've done lots of work today and not nearly enough interview prep. I now need to decide what to wear, pack my gym bag and work out what I need to take with me tomorrow.

Think I'll just go and check on my bottles first...

Oh love her... I really wish my ungrateful lot could experience what some children endure on a daily basis even if just for an hour.. it may at least stop them being so horrid just for a day

Cure for all that ails chocolate buttons are.. not so confident about strawberry milk.. maybe that is just for exceptionally brave little girls..

another growling point... DD4 wrote the I and new OH suck and her dad is brilliant... anyway she was subtlely, a little later reminded who would look after her if she felt ill, who she comes to when she is hurt, who takes her to all her appointments and school, and buys all her pretty things and who weilds the power!! She conceded, although she had got over her strop by this point.. ratbag! It wouldn't normally irritate but the fact they had been so horrible today and I know what he would have said and done that made that all the more scathing, so I did what I normally wouldn't and gave her a few things to think on.. 6 year olds are so good at thinking lol

All in bed and fairly quiet noww.. and I need sweets and fizzy pop!

Actually I noticed yesterday.. I was out collecting (stepadad is a window cleaner and I gather his cash) and we usually finish about half 8 and last night it was a bit darker than it had been 2 weeks ago when we finished a little later at 8:45.. I just sighed and thought of stew and vegetable gratin!.. and moussaka.. yummy hot stodge rib sticky food!!

  • thanks everyone, i can't see DH apologizing TBH, i guess we will just plod along like normal, which i know ain't good but it's just who we are - in the 7 yrs we have been together we have only argued once and that was back in february this year! i can see us heading for a row though, just all his little things he does that annoy me are really grating on me now, like how he complains that he never gets to buy anything(he buys a new xbox game almost monthly) and how he is the one bringing in the money so if he wants something then he will have it(doesn't matter that we have a HUGE loan to pay off and a CC to pay) and moans at me for buying a mag every month(THE ONLY thing i buy for me) and how if he was single and childfree he would be loaded as he wouldn't have me and DD spending all his money(i have a £100 month grocery budget any money left over goes towards debts) and the fact that he has said some horrible things doesn't help matters either
he doesn't get any better though, about an hour ago, he asked me what time i was leaving tomorrow - told him about 10ish, he said 'oh well you will be able to go to netto at 9ish to get some milk and bread then?'
yes i will but only because netto is next to the petrol station and i need to fill up before i go, if the car was full then i wouldn't bother, he would just have to find a way of getting milk and bread himself, just like i had to before i was driving!! :D
well so far there is probably about 2 sinkfuls of pots ready to be washed tomorrow:rotfl: and i could go down and wash them but i ain't, i'm gonna sit here and play games on FB all night:D
for the most he does treat me like a princess(i know that sounds corny) but it's just all the little thing are bugging me, doesn't help with tomorrow and the fact that AF never showed up so i am all over the place, but i really could walk out the door and never come back........

Pigpen I feel your pain! As a teacher I used to snigger when i heard mums moaning about their kids during the holidays, now I have 2 myself and a four year old who desperately needs school to start I can relate more to them. Sometimes I think I am looking forward to going back in September.
Dollydaydream dont know what to say but just ((( )))
Soappie glad you feeling a bit better as my gin bottle is getting rather low hic!

Am off to bed as am knacked. Kids been a bit better today. Been to allotment but it was too hot for kids so had to come home after an hour. It is nearly clear which isnt bad seeing as we've only had it a few weeks. In fact it looks a lot better than quite a few others so am feeling v proud. Just got to keep it that way!
