    - sorry you hopes were dashed by a scammer but what a formidable force this board is being able to alert you to the possibilities BEFORE they happened so you were warned. Well done Johanne! I'd go to the Police. And Gumtree AND your local newspaper!

I have been very good and rested all day today but have been engaged in mental activity like writing. I have a bit more of a voice this evening. BB had a good three hours out in the garden with the gardener this afternoon - that's as good as a walk for her! I kept indoors out of his way just in case I infected him.

Did manage a stroll up to the post box this afternoon (Quillion, I'm afraid that letter only got posted today - I was too ill to do it before) and kept out of people's way as I walked.

Tomorrow, I need to do shopping and pack stuff for the wedding on Saturday. I shall pace it carefully though. I have sourced two pairs of shoes online so only need to nip into the shop and try them on. But I also need food. We're out of fresh veg etc. My plan is to have everything ready by mid afternoon tomorrow so I'm not rushing around too much Sat. morning.

Rose did you ring the Police and have you let on to the scammer you know its a scam?

    jojo the tightfisted
Then because remembered to buy tube of superglue, managed to repair massive crack in nail (have only just stopped chewing nails after 35 years, so bit protective towards my film star talons) with the assistance of a cocktail stick and some rizla papers left behind when OH moved out. No fancy silk wraps for me!

Good move hun but you could have mended with some silk material if you had it at home.
Shame you don't live mear me i could have sorted that for you as i am a Nail Technician (more for leisure than busines)

evening all! i have decided that i am c**p at this flying malarky! i sooo wanted to stay on track but why does life get in the way? my house is a tip, and i'm only just cooking dinner cos of having to take my boy to docs.... i have only just sat down.

i have a young duck (yes really a duck) in a cage in my bedroom convalescing from a broken leg kicking shavings everywhere - she been here 10 days now, hopefully release next week - she's stayed wild enough even though only young.

i have a son with a bloodshot eye who i took to docs after work - an hour and 10 mins wait later we were seen - bless him, (he's 10) "mummy what if i'm going blind or the blood goes to the middle and i see forever in red with that eye???? " luffs him i do.....

i have a pile of done and dry washing about 5 ft tall waiting to be put away, some of it covered in in wood shavings thanks to puddle duck....

i have a mad collie with a sore bum - he needs to be sorted too.

oh grief, i think i may need a " help me sort my life out bit by bit" thread so i can fly!!!!

i am also down for overtime tomorrow and saturday, out the house as normal at 6.45am, not home again til 7 0r 8 pm:eek: up again at 5am saturday to carry on.... thanks be i've got the week off next week! and i've not even read what you lots been upto!

with my 1 starway things have gone i am just a wee bit whelmed over.... :o

I thinks something will have to be said to your OH, there's coming close and then there's crossing the line.

    hello lovely ladies

Have caught up with the thread today

Quillion - CITB is the construction college or training camp at Bircham, 1/2 of Docking population work there :rotfl:. Have you found anywhere yet if not PM me details of how many people you need to find a home for and exactly what dates and I'll see what I can come up with.
Johanne - well done on putting 2 and 2 together for rosepink. never occurred to me.
Kazwookie, Blimus and Greenbee - I'll come and drink with you when you're about. What happened to lilysue and vivw was previously up for an eastern meet.
DollyDD - good luck with your plan for hubby tomorrow. Hugs for your day.
Rosepink - hubbys game playing might be his way of coping at the moment, you said he had found it difficult lately. It could be his way of keeping busy or detaching himself from the situation
LilacPixie - Hugs honey, sounds like you need them
Jo - positive vibes for the job hunting
    Natty - hope lodgercats improved
Pigpen - Oh dear, hope the day improved
KazW - OMG that looks like a job for my Dd and Piggers children, you'll get it done in half the time
zoelikesjam and zara*elise - welcome to the thread
rosepink - Sorry it was a scam, but at least you didnt get caught out
serena - yes I'm still on the shoe hunt. Got some stunners but they are wayyyy too high, they ake me 6' 2" tall and H2B is only 5'11" :p
GnB - When I had a new Wm we had a local family business deliver and it, he told me to use half the wash powder I normally used and that it wouldnt ever need any more than that. Apparently the excess just cloggs up the pipes . I havent noticed a difference to the washing.
sexymouse - looks like Lady Lib was on FB this morning.
merlin - we dont do it all we just pretend too. No seriously its just one small step at a time. Like AnW's mum take a dot to dot approach. Clear a space, then another one then join them up. The bits you've done will take less time the next.
Triker - glad you know what it was, now rest :D

So what have I done tonight
    tea for children
Dog to vets for kennel cough stuff
