  • Well the good news (for those who remember my previous rants) is that my housemate (unable to see dirt / mess / crumbs) is moving out. Tomorrow. So the flat is currently a sea of boxes and a loooooooot of loose bits and pieces hanging about.

As of tomorrow (circa 4pm) I'll have the whole flat to myself!

Therefore no cleaning today due to inability to see any of the carpet or any other flat surfaces. I've done a HHI (managed 4 shirts and a pair of trousers; ironing is not my forte) as I start a new job on Wednesday (will need to wear a tie and everything!!!)

Now I'm off to my penultimate night shift ever!

    Enjoy the wine Kaz
Thanks for the welcome back Holly, Helen, GreenBee and all others!

And... of course... Hey Valli :hello:

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:Dsuddenly feels immensely cheered up!

one batch of ironing done. Second failed inner tube removed from DDs bike - so that's two to take back tomorrow and get replaced:rolleyes:.
Pots washed and are drying naturally.
friend has phoned and we shall meet up saturday possibly for a walk if it's fine - especially as DD doesn't have dancing class on a Saturday so we should be able to make an early start:D unless I book a holiday - I was thinking Devon but suddenly S. Wales seems very appealing! :rotfl:;)

I haven't got a cozzy at the moment but actually, if I get one I would love to as I used to enjoy aquacise...where do you go?
I bought a costume and took it to Benidorm last year but as I didn't actually wear it I took it back to the shop when I got home -
(In fact I never removed the label from anything and took back, unworn, about four items :rotfl: I was really worried they'd get 'dirty' in the suitcase if something leaked :rotfl:)

  • I'm in.

Spent most of the day in bed recovering from friend's 30th.

Her lovely boyf booked us all into a v expensive hotel with facials and dinner - but at the last minute I found out he hadn't paid for it as we'd thought, and I am now £120 lighter!!! !!!!!!.

They are both pretty well off so it's not much to them, but it could have been a lot cheaper and still as nice - not MSE at all.

Recovered sufficiently to go for a run and pole practice and get spray tanned by my lovely fella - first time, so we'll see how it goes.

Writing a letter now to the local council to appeal a parking ticket - £35 better in my pocket!

  • Well, after lurking for some time, and attempting to do all this week's tasks, erm this morning (managed Monday, Tuesday, part of wednesday and most of thursday all to level one before colapsing) I'm in. Living room is worse offender (since I skipped most of wednesday tbh) so fun and games tomorrow. We shall see how it goes...

    Welcome Farenheit
If you're a lurker you may well know that our meeter and greeter is off poorly sick right now - but no doubt her famous welcome pm will wing it's way to you in the fullness of time.
Try level ones then - especially if you are doing more than one room in one day and my own personal favourite DECLUTTER because the less clutter you have the easier it is to keep on top of it all.
What colour are your pegs BTW?
    ***she asked innocently***

    Declutter report
TWO school sweatshirts worn by DS in Year 7 (and he's Year 11 in Sept) have now gone. Initially I hoped DD might wear them but no she wanted the v -neck sweater so they have lived in one of his wardrobes ever since. Now gone to GF's as she has a little brother Y7 in Sept. Her dad has just been made redundant so I am sure that will have helped a bit!
I didn't charity shop them as they have the school logo on...
