Hi Purple, welcome to the mad house ;)

The short answer is no you don't have to follow the list (as posted on and added to each day on post 1) you can use it as a framework for your own list or you can draw up your own list. The whole idea is that you achieve something during the day. A lot of people use the list as a starting point and either adapt or add their own priorities to it.

There are no hard and fast rules just mutual support for what can be a very boring and lonely job. Toots will be around at some point this week to welcome you officially and will send you a PM with all the info you should need. In the meantime have a good look at post 1 and dive on in ;)

    Evening :D:o

frodders - on a return trip to thank everyone now and I think its a case of oops and at least its only chocolate I'm on now - I found a crunchie in one of the shopping bags I was clearing away Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

JTB2412 - Welcome to the thread hope you enjoy and dont worry my earlier ramblings dont occur very often.

Gingergirl - hamster does need a haircut, not to be confused with DD shortening the gerbils tail

Thanks Mrs B - good job I dont do it often, now of course if I was a hardened master at it like you ................. :D

greenbee - it was more than the 1 today, in fact more than 2 even. It doesnt help having a wine box of your favourite in the fridge :rotfl:

Princess J - OMG what a swindle, tell her to get rid

Fahrenheit - welcome to the thread, remember baby steps

Mrs Morten - Snowflake  only thing I can think of is delicate

Triker - happy I could be of service and so glad you managed to get out, never mind the to55 ers

I have a dilemma now and I need some advice.

On the 15th I am goin out with my boss, (as its her birthday), another workmate and some of the bosses mates to see the dreamboys. She is already sorting out what jugs of cocktails to have on the table . You see the thing is, sniff the cork and I start to relax, 1/2 a glass and I start to get stupid, a glass full and I get verbal diarrhoea, any more I'll probably be either dancing on the table or under it, but it will also be only a week before we leave for our holiday and wedding which no-one other than those invited (and you guys of course) knows anything about and I want to keep it that way, and its also an hours journey away and not sure if I travel well after a few :o. ok breathe ................. so what do I do, abstain and keep stummm or enjoy myself, probably embarrass myself completely and let the cat out of the bag and hopefully not upchuck on the way home.

PS welcome purple dreams. The first post of the thread explains it all and is updated each day with the next days tasks. Just do what you are able to and jump in with the natter or half hour challenges (HHC) as you see fit
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
